It hurts that I, too, share these feelings. I talked about my opinions of Nixon with my father a few months ago and he agrees with me as well. If he hadn't have gotten caught he would have gone down in history as a great fucking president; even then, quotes pulled from the tapes make too much fucking sense when you listen to it.
