the language there would imply that Scotland is infact relevant even if only in this and in whiskey production

Scotland took part in the referendum, so they obviously took the risk. Same with their initial independence referendum, by then it was known that the UK would have a EU referendum. They accepted the situation and took part in the referendum, they won't be able to now say: "Wait, we only agreed to one possible outcome, not the other!"
It's rather pathetic from the Scots now.

A slight problem. This not doubt will go to court if they even think about suggesting it. The highest court on the land is the House of Lords which no doubt will rule against such interpretation.
Oh for the love of god, Scotland, would you please have another bloody referendum and:

Article 50 is EU law.
>>78727081
Except that's irrelevant. What the text says is that the scottish parliament has a de facto veto right on the entirety of the Brexit. Scotland says no and the entire UK is forced to stay. Deal with it, britcuck.
>>78727094
And it regulates withdrawal from the EU and is hence binding for the UK until they actually have left. Which requires the Scots to not veto it, going by what's written there.

So?

This is basically correct.
>Which requires the Scots to not veto it
I do not see why. The EU has a built in mechanism for leaving, which is lawful. The Scottish parliament is not permitted to pass laws contrary to EU law, but they are not being asked to do that. Scotland is not a country and is not an EU member, they are not involved in the Article 50 mechanism.
