Was he really lying? Brits please give me some insight about all this 350 millions pounds shill
>>
>>78651400
Is Nigel the Prime Minister and can decide where the money goes?
>>
>>78651400
I can't believe people aren't figuring this one out, simply put he isn't in government is he? So of course he can't personally guarantee how money will be spent. He didn't lie personally though no.
>>
He's not wrong, yes the Uk will be freed of £350 million a week and yes definitely some of that would go to the NHS but anybody thinking the ENTIRE lot would go to the NHS are kidding themselves. He obviously doesn't decide where the money goes, using the NHS as an example of what the money can be used for is the message.

So if anything I don't really think he was right to say it was a mistake at all.
>>
>>78651583
>>78651711
Allright that makes sense
>>
>>78651400
The British general public are mostly total fucking idiots who will believe anything as long as it's vaguely plausible. The 350 million is a swizz; very misguided but of info.

The remain campaign tried to use facts and complex mathematics (such as addition and subtraction). As the average Brit has the IQ of a slug, this failed.

The UK will now see companies leaving and brain drain.

As a high skilled person, I don't really care because I can work anywhere. But it will be the people who work shitty menial jobs that will be ultimately hit. And they brought this shit on themselves.
>>
>>78651400

I don't understand. Is this what people are talking about? Did they really think the government would just give the NHS all of the EU payments? Why would they? There are other things that are also important. I mean, of course NHS is going to receive a big chunk, but obviously nobody thought they'd get ALL of it? That's all Nigel said, isn't it?
>>

No he simply said he can't "guarantee" how money will be spent for the simple reason i've stated.. he isn't in government.

You're either old or uneducated. The voting statistics show that anyone who actually contributes anything to the GDP of this country such as London and University towns wanted to remain.

>>
>>78651400

>>
>>78652531
No, but the UK needs London to survive. I know we don't need the EU to trade with other countries, but the reason why a lot of our industry is here is quite simply because foreign companies want to trade in Europe.

Our financial institutions in London will move to Frankfurt, and a fair chunk of our manufacturing will move to the mainland. Foreign investors choice will quite simply be:

Invest in UK - OK labour cost; poor work force (trust me the rest of the world are aware of how bad our workers are); harder to trade with Europe (shipping and potentially tariffs)

Invest in Eastern Europe: Low labour cost; OK work force; no possibility of tariffs; no shipping required.
>>
>>78651918

LOL this is so incorrect its pathetic.

Should the pound lose value (permanently) manufacturing will migrate to the UK from all over europe and push the average incomes up as businesses actually try to compete for labour for once.

This is great for skilled workers and great for unskilled workers and you are a fucking kike shill.

There literally isn't any downside to leaving the EU, especially if other countries start to do so over the next few years. Countries such as the UK no longer have to compete with foreigners for jobs, incomes rise, and guess what?! Birthrates will rise too because people can actually afuckingford it.
>>

Not an argument...
It's the good old "if you don't think what i think you are uneducated!" thing which in literal interpretations of "educated" is kind of true as i haven't swallowed the tunnel vision indoctrination that you clearly have. You said you don't care because you can work anywhere so why the fuck are you here caring? If like you say poor people will suffer from this then you won't be affected thus it isn't your problem right? So go away?

>>78653125
The sad thing is our unis churn out a massive percentage of retards like him who all regurgitate the same fucking rehearsed points over and over again even when they all get inevitably proved wrong over the next few years. Cucks.
>>
>>78653125
>Should the pound lose value (permanently) manufacturing will migrate to the UK from all over europe
Given that the Divided Kingdom has trade deals, because tariffs > weak pound.

Wich it won't, for a long time, until it finally regains single market access to the eurozone - at the cost Norway pays (pay money to the EU and accept EU laws, but without voting for them).
>>
>>78653125

>Pound losing value a good thing in any way.
Look what's happening in countries with devaluing currencies. For example, Russia. How is their industry doing?

>Birthrates rising a good thing
Just no in every way.
>>
>>78651711
>He's not wrong, yes the Uk will be freed of £350 million a week
not really. that's the gross figure, there's an abatement... so the UK actually gets about half that much. still a very significant figure.
>>
>>78653538

You're ignoring the power of the country involved. This is not Greece, this is a major economy and the EU NEEDS the UK even though it says it doesn't.

Refusing to trade with the UK on fair terms will spell the end of the EU much faster than just having the UK leave

The EU needs the UK much less than the UK needs the EU.

And the EU needs to set a sign that you cannot get a pick-and-choose deal.

The UK will NOT have single market access without paying for it, and accepting EU legislation. Like Norway.

And these laws you will then be forced to accept, you will actually be right to complain about as being undemocratic.

Guess what? The EU is going to die and everyone knows it, which means nobody with a brain is going to invest the cost of a sock long term into that sinking ship, and now you Brits have a devaluated currency, which means it's cheaper for people to invest in the UK since prices are low, which double means that the EU will see any sort of valuable investments die on the vine, while you have a much better future as far as your economy is concerned, plus higher long term growth once you abandon the regulations of the EU.

But also money is less important than your people and country, you traitorous cuck.

Nobody is going to move anywhere because these are all empty threats that hinge on mainland Yurop not being, at bes,t a generation away from widespread unrest and civic failure at the hands of terrorism and masses of unintegratable mud people as the political union sort of holding it all in place is set to collapse within the decade.

Part of the problem is that you have to eliminate all trade barriers, and you can't compete with Germoney and its subsidized currency.

They're not short term at all. We've just gone from a 'stable' country to a 'negative' one because our medium term future looks so bleak to everyone.

We could be facing a 10 year depression and then we'll only be a little poorer.

We all give up national sovereignty for money all the time. America is probably the worst for this. You let big businesses buy your government like it's an auction and you do so knowing it allows you to be the richest country in the world.
>>
>>78652375
I don't ever recall a promise that all £350m a week would go into the NHS, just that some of it could be used that way.

The £350m didn't all renain in Brussels, that was misleading. About half comes back through the rebate, which is ours to do as we please, and though EU funding that is ring fenced to ensure it is spent on specific things.

Obviously there will be more freedom to play with that money now but I didn't ever thing every penny would go to the NHS and I don't recall the Leave campaign saying so.

The one worry is that without the EU ring fencing spending some areas of the country will get nothing. As a Welshman I hope we continue to have money from a brexit UK government in support of impoverished areas because we voted out, but Westminster isn't big on reciprocating loyalty.

He never promised to put 350 millions of pounds a week in healthcare. It's a complete fabrication by increasingly nervous stayfags.

What Nigel Farage said is that the huge amount of money that goes to EU could be used to help the British people, one example is the healthcare system.

Look at it this way.
You smoke a pack of cigarettes a day. You're an addict. Nigel Farage tells you ''hey, if you drop smoking you will save a lot of money. For the money you spend on cigarettes in one year you can buy a used car''.
Ok. So you stop smoking.
Now will you go ask Nigel what happened to the free car he ''promised'' you? That's insane.

That's what is happening here.
Nigel never promised to take the money that goes into EU and putting ALL of it into healthcare. It will be distributed all across the board.

>You let big businesses buy your government like it's an auction and you do so knowing it allows you to be the richest country in the world.

I'm not denying that. Ethics went out the window a long time ago in first world nations for the shekels.

fuck know

but when I finished work yesterday this clip was all over my feed and the original had like a million shares.

I knew what would happen soon as I watched it. A loaded question and a concise answer based on facts that everyone ignores. Low and behold...

oh yeah, everyone voted solely because they thought 1 gorillion would be pumped into the NHS every millisecond

They did badly 'after' joining the common market. Thatcher didn't arrive until 1979. The 70s was a bad decade for Britain, especially after joining the EEC. Britain had run an empire against you krauts quite successfully. Part of the problem was that the UK had to pay back a massive war debt, whereas the krauts, the dindus of Europe, got away nearly scot free

A politician owning up to a mistake?

It makes me respect him more. It demonstrates integrity and honesty.

The map on the left shows the general turnout - i.e. the amount of people who turned out.

The map on the right shows the amount of percentage of population that are between 18-24. It does not show the difference in voter turnout between the old and the young. It simply shows the percentage of people who are young.

What you should be comparing the map on the left to is the third map on this page:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/24/eu-referendum-how-the-results-compare-to-the-uks-educated-old-an/

A 5/10% difference.

It's this sort of misunderstanding of basic maths and stats that makes people make bad decisions.
>>
>>78656923
Your points have no validity, they are just shilling and fearmongering. It is a strawman to suggest that the vote was solely because of a misleading statement on the NHS. Similarly, short term market fluctuations are no long term indicators necessarily. Also, Europe is currently undergoing stagnation of a horrible kind. Why are you so insistent that you experience more of the same?

Where did you get your economics phd and in which economics course did you learn that free trade is impossible outside of Unions like the EU.

We in Australia have been working on several free trade deals, we have a fantastic economy and we don't rely on some foreign nation to maintain our economy. People in europe will be forced to continue to do business with the Brits because it is in their best interests to do so.
Britain can now offer an alternative to the over regulated statism of the EU, real free trade without the strings attached.

Kosovo was part of Yugoslavia, Skanderbeg. The end of the Balkan conflict was tied into the Serb/Albanian conflict in Kosovo. Maybe you should read a book or something

My bad. You're correct.

See how the media is utterly biased against the leave campaign?
It's one of the many reasons that I voted out.

I'm fucking sick of all the lies.
>>
>>78657292
Actually I didn't once talk about the NHS statement. You can't just say "your points have no validity" and not say why.

It just makes me sad that people no longer listen to the educated in lieu of macho politicians with bravado. We want to follow strong leaders - we're biologically programmed to do so.

Almost every single financial institution, professor, and company told the public not to - but they listened to the bravado - the empty words - because they cannot understand the arguments.

Anyways I'm off. Remember: just because you failed school, it doesn't mean all smart people are trying to trick you.
>>
>>78657672

its not enough, in 10-20 years a good proportion of the population will be chinese and the government will bend its ear to chinese influence and voters.

Australia will realign itself with china and ask the US to leave. Our borders need to close permanently to stop this from happening.
>>
>>78657244
And it also correlates with younger voters being less likely to participate which is also given as a possible reason for BREXIT to win. The BBC admitted this in its survey of the referendum.

>leave wins

Forgive me, but its not always convenient to follow all the attributions in detail. My post followed 2 posts, one of which was yours.

In any case, I don't believe you can dismiss this as 'uneducated people' swept along by 'macho politicians with bravado'. There is a Europe wide unease and malaise with regard to the experiment of European integration. The leadership of the EU in the last 10 years and more has been disgraceful and damaging. The EU is in terminal decline, and it isn't Britain's fault, it is the fault of Brussels and Germany and their toadies and all the pigs on the gravy train.

The desire to leave the EU has been by no means cauterized with the Brexit. Soon enough we will have referenda on Frexit, Grexit, Dexit and all the other 'exits'

brexit is one of those issues where I automatically assume anyone pushing for staying in is a retard

why would the UK, with such a strong economy and track record governing itself, ever give up it's sovereignty? especially after this migrant crisis?

because if something is funded by "EU money" which we give them to give back to us, that means those institutions will die out. UK will never ever farm, do science or build art monuments again.

plus the tories want to enslave us all. now we're doomed because the EU was the only ones protecting us from corporatism :^)))))

It's so painful. I know nothing of British politics and when I first saw him shit talk the E.U. on John Oliver's cuckholding promotion show, I thought he was pretty fuckin' based, but this made him so fuckin' nervous and painful, that no matter how true anything he says, is, it sounds defensive as fuck.
>>
>>78660938
He could have said "Will we save X amount? Yes. Will I make a campaign promise based on the Leave campaign's advert as the head of the UKIP? No. We will have that money and we will have a discussion on where to use it. Could we put $350 million into the NHS? We could, but there is plenty of other stagnating needs thanks to the EU. Let's start the conversation on what needs fixing now that we know our path"
