http://www.ft.com/fastft/2016/06/24/scotland-n-ireland-can-stay-in-eu-says-merkel-ally/

With the Chinese saying it will take 10 years and 500 negotiators before any trade deal can be finalized and all the other major and emerging powers realizing they will have tremendous leverage when it comes to trade, what was the point?

What have the leavers gained? The EU is definitely going to play hardball and make an example of the UK to put fear in the rest. Access to the single market is probably lost and now there will be strong political backing, both inside and out, for the balkanization of Britain.

Why did you do this? Why did you support it? You're going to be forced to suck the dick of every major and minor power to have any semblance of the economy you had before. How is the UK any more independent now than before? How is it safer or stronger when it's more divided than it's ever been?

This is madness.

I think what it comes down to, in the end, is that the UK has never really been part of Europe. They've always been a strange soggy island out in the Atlantic, looking at the continent from afar. They don't feel European. They don't belong. They're unique and distinct. This has been proved over the last 1200 years.
>>
>>78643196
You're all idiots and not seeing Farages plan.

Australia has a dowturn after China left our Mining Boom. Britain is our new prime customer. No negotiations need to be made.

Australia can start dealing with the UK right the fuck now, after being held back by the EU for decades.

>>78643668
Man, don't you get it? They have LOST leverage and will be much, much easier to take advantage of economically, politically and hell maybe even culturally. The UK is in a much more vulnerable and weak position.

Do your really think brexit was a "fuck you" to the jews? Who do you think will benefit the most from this?

Why the would the UK go to China? China imports food and materials from Australia. China has a collapsing Steel industry, and the UK is formerly their biggest competitor. And Australia is where all the Iron and Coal comes from.
China buys everything from us, and we only sell it to China because the EU prevented us selling it to the UK.

What leverage are you talking about? Being able to cuck Brussels by blocking decisions isn't leverage if you aren't in charge of making decisions in the first place. What good are the EU trade deals for Britain if they are oriented at saving continental industry first and foremost?

>easier to take advantage of economically
Britain is the 5th largest economy. It's not only China and Germany they ever have to deal with. Many countries will jump right in to sign a deal with UK now that they won't have to go through the EU buffer but Britain will still be able to dictate its own conditions.

It was consensual and they were free to leave at any time. So, like anon said, it was literally apples and oranges.

There is little gained from this break up other than economic downturns and a rebuilding of a nation in the most perilous time in human history. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of you aren't hip on the transhumanist, automated labor, and advancing A.I. meme, but believe me we're here and this is an era of exponential change. All the nations of man will go through voltile changes in increasingly shorter periods of time while we adjust to the new society yet to be created. Unity, more so than anything else, will help us survive. Skepticism, schism, and isolationist policies are just knee jerk reactions to the symptoms of the change. They don't help long term in building the necessary infastructure and foundation for the new world. Hell, anon, at best it ensures that that particular set of people suffer the most in the darkest part of the night before the coming dawn.

What is Britain planning to do when every is experiencing massive unemployment due to automation and there are no trade channels for the island state? What will they produce? What the hell are they going to export? Who will they lean on when it comes time for all men to lean on one another to survive until dawn?

Just dropping a bit of honesty here: If you think the great depression, great recession, and the 2011 slip were anything serious, wait until 2030. What is a Brit to do then?

Of course we won't allow them to fail, that would be harmful for America. We will, however, fuck them in the ass when it comes to trade. If the globalists are really in power economically, then they will do what they do.

And we supplied BMD technology, and sub nukes to the UK. Only 2 Countries in the EU have Nukes. That's England and France. Our BMD silos are all over Europe, to protect against Nuclear strikes.

UK leaving and the EU moving forward to have all EU militaries work together if needed kind of hurts their force... seeing as UK is 4 Countries... and one of those countries has Nukes...
>>
>>78647379
No, we're pretty sober about the Brexit. Of course there will be lay offs, and our economic growth is expected to drop more than 0.5 percent points because of this.

Who's really angry are the politicians in Brussels. They lose influence, and of course they get blamed for losing Britain to the right wing extremists like Boris Johnson. It's just too bad that those Brussels officials mostly aren't elected but are politicians that had become to inconvenient or dumb for their home countries and thus got ""promoted"" to EU commissioners.

The EU isn't just about a common market and regulations. It started out that way, but it was also always a project to keep the peace in Europe through cooperation instead of nationalization. The EU establishes common standards of studying at universities for example, so that you can just switch between countries in the middle of your studies. There are town friendships and student exchange programs. I for example have taken part in a Franco-German friendship program, have traveled to France and now think about them differently.

Britain on the other hand won the war and never saw the need to be at peace with other European nations like we did. And for international trade, they have long had their subjected colonies overseas. They probably want to return to these good old colonial times now, not realizing that still to this present day they are hated in their former colonies for what they have done until 1970.

Your entire first paragraph happens in every nation in the world. International standards, while difficult to set up are not so hard to measure and compare.

Your second paragraph is wishful thinking. Australia has been desperate for a decent trade partner since China landed itself on the rocks.

The people need to stand up to these globalists, bankers, corporations and politicians and tell them that the time for profit over provision is long gone.

People want to live decent lives with what little there is to share around, not have ot all get sequestered by the governments and given to the unfortunate, but less adept peoples of other nations. I've been saying for years, we humans are still just animals, and we will not easily let go of our basic desire to be comfortable. Nothing Merkel, the EU, or the kike globalist rich can say will change this and without denying the supergovernments their will we will fall into chaos and civil war.

Nothing. They fucked themselves over and pissed the Euros off, so any deal they could've gotten is washed away. Their best bet (besides doing nothing) was to hope it only failed by a hair, so they could get a new deal worked out, but now they've pissed everyone off.

Their only hope is that Parliament or the Queen throws out the referendum, but neither side has the stomach to do it. Good luck trying to negotiate a sweetheart deal with the EU - they want to make an example out of you and only one nation has to veto it.

They're like a Mafia boss threathening anyone who wants to leave the family, the statements made against the UK have been disturbing to say the least.
This is not how a "liberal" country behaves, hell the main reason the global economy is going down the drain is BECAUSE the EU desperately painted the brexit like the coming of the apocalypse and they are manipulating the markets to make sure the UK crashes and revotes to get back, this time as part of the eurozone.

Yes there will be a rocky period, everyone who voted leave AND remain knew this would happen if leave won, but in the long term it'll be far better for the UK economy.

ECoHR is no longer supreme, we can boot fucking Abu Hookhands into the long grass and deport foreign criminals. It will effect migration numbers as we can control the numbers. The Med boat people / migration crisis are still arriving in Italy by the thousands, Africa's population is exploding and the EU is too slow to act quickly enough to any shock.

ALSO, Greece is in the shit again and about to ask for even more money. It will Leave at some point and Italy is badly in need of Leaving too to weaken its currency. Give it a year and shit will hit the fan.

No. You talk carelessly about war, because in the last 150 years you haven't had one at home. Always safely abroad. There certainly wouldn't be a civil war about exiting the EU.

Yesterday there was some talk about a lot of people feeling alienated from the EU, though. Even by some politicians. They say we have to get away from ever more strange and restrictive regulations and show the people what a united Europe is really good for. That is of course partly because they are afraid of nationalistic tendencies in Netherlands, France, Denmark etc. Britain was a case where the dissatisfaction was simply overheard by the establishment.

I hope these politicians are serious. Someone for example has yet to tell Merkel that it's part her fault with her forcing millions of unwanted shitskins on us and just saying "Oh, we can manage."

Not an argument.
Nations DO need sovereignty, and they DO need borders, and if you had half of Nigel's balls - which is one-half a ball - you might not be such a chickenshit cuck too scared to work to make your country as great as it deserves to be. Quit acting like that's something to turn your fucking nose up at, prole. All that ridiculous posturing just serves to prove how spineless you are.

If only there was a way to move aboard in non eu nations....
If only they invented passports and visas.
I guess they'll have to be illegals now.
