How can the US seriously be against taking in Syrians they are directly responsible for what is happening in Europe now. The US needs to do more to help Syrian refugees especially since they were the ones who fucked up the region so much.

That's like there's some disaster in America so the Chinese decide to help out by shipping you to fucking Mongolia, where nobody speaks your language, the culture is radically different, the food is radically different, your education, if you have one, is useless due to the different environment, etc. Total dick move.
Worst case, you would set up disaster centers for Americans in places like Canada or England -- we would be displaced but into a relatively familiar setting.
If we want to really help Syrians, we would ideally set up relief areas in Syria. If that's not possible, we would set it up as close to Syria as possible, in the most familiar places possible.
Throw a billion dollars at it or whatever. I'm not against helping them. Build them fucking mansions if you want.
