>It was strange atmosphere sitting on the train this morning in London during rush hour. It was eerily quiet. The whole of London practically voting to remain, there was definitely an air of defeat, and severe disappointment. I saw a woman crying on the bus. This truly is evil triumphing over good. And there is definetely a very obvious divide in the country, with the voting ratio almost 50:50. I expect a lot of tension in the next coming years.

Pride in London is tomorrow, so a bit of positivity in such a shocking time. Though, as a volunteer, I am slightly afraid of tensions. But we will stand in solidarity, we will not go down without a fight.

It's the value of my companies shares today. I left out details on purpose because I don't want to say where I work. It means everything is going to be OK, at least if today is anything to go by. Other companies in the same field that only trade in the UK saw their shares plummet though.

Blair and New Labour destroyed the Labour Party. Nobody trusts them on immigration because they had a strategy of importing voters and leaving the working class behind as the upper middle class grew in relation to the working class. They should have stuck to their principles. Bullshit WMD claims about Iraq didn't help either. It may reform if they get a bettering at the next GE.

>>
>>78594388
wrong, i mean it. Fuck the eu.
>>
I didn't vote. I felt like I'd regret whichever choice I made. I'm glad we have a chance to control immigration and regain the sovereignty we had lost to Brussels. At the same time, I regret that we've lost the right to live and work in much of Europe.

(I do realise that I just contradicted myself.)

I just... I dunno. I wish things could have went in a third direction. I wish we could stay in an EU that didn't have unchecked migration from warzones and didn't enforce destructive regulations on its constituents. (They ruined the British fishing industry.)

I'm a Scot so there's a good chance I'm going to get EU membership again in some years. No Irish grandparents so I can't do the RoI passport loophole and enjoy the best of both worlds. I have no idea how citizenship is going to work in an independent Scotland.

I identify, in no particular order, as Scottish AND British AND "European". There's a chance I'll actually have to choose. Either way it's going to be a clusterfuck.

tl;dr I can empathise with both Leave's elation and Remain's disappointment, but personally, I just feel lost and conflicted.
