Young anon the stock market is a casino driven by children. These guys were dumb enough to bet that Britain would vote remain and drove the Pound up yesterday. Then they woke up and are so retarded they thought the world is going to collapse because the UK has to renegotiate trade deals so they began selling all of their shit. In two weeks when opportunists begin buying stock at steal prices they'll realize how retarded they are.
The pound crashed for LITERALLY no reason, nothing has changed today from yesterday aside from the results coming in, we've only taken the very first step to leaving, but idiot stock traders went into panic mode.
Once they realise that they aren't going to lose money from this, everything will re-stabilise.

It's the stock market. Brexit is a gigantic fucking question mark as far as Britains future is concerned, so it stands to reason the currency would tank. No one wants to put a lot of money on uncertainty if they can help it, need more information to make an educated guess.
