It's a vote for representative democracy, which means the people now have a chance to vote through representatives they can now elect on policies that are beneficial to England rather than "Europe" (this can include many things besides controlling the border, but that's mostly what /pol/ cares about), and allows the them to now trade with others outside of the Eurozone, or ditching socialism to follow free market principles.
