Well from a logistics standpoint it makes sense. The moment someone purchases a firearm, legally mind you, it would help identify the undesirables in our country.
So like, if someone buys a gun in Hawaii, then commits a crime in Nebraska, the Hawaii police get notified? What does this do? Why would they care? Is it so they can go raid his house and confiscate his guns immediately?
How can Hawaii dictate to a Federal Agency through state law?
