If Labour truly spoke for their voters, they would've put in a vote of no confidence for Corbyn the second he came out for the In campaign.

They didn't.

I've never voted in a general election (voted for the first time yesterday - Leave of course) and if Boris is made leader, I will vote Tory. I bet I'm not alone. The Labour bloodbath is about to rise in depth.

Ironically Corbyn would be riding high right now if he'd stuck to his principles rather than selling out. Old labour's ghost is what won the referendum. "We're living in an historic hour. Do remember that always and live in that sense I beg of you. When the period, this period comes to be written, and men look back at it, if we did right, if we stood firm, if we stood greatly, it will be a matter of honour and veneration for generations to come. My friends do live in that sense that you are Englishmen, that you are Britons. That you come from people who have faced tremendous odds again and again. That much is against you, but you've got within you that will, that spirit, above all that faith and that belief, which will lead the generations to come, to look back at you, in the pages of history, with the proud words: TO ENGLAND, TO BRITAIN,, TO EUROPE. THEY WERE TRUE"

Mosley was right, and this is a spiritual revolution.

I don't think Scots independence and Irish unification would be a bad thing at all. Scotland uses different laws anyway and clearly has its own ideas about how it wants to run things. Northern Ireland is becoming more Catholic and it seems inevitable. England and Wales are a nice fit and could work out well for everyone and if anything benefit the latter. I quite like the idea of the English identity emerging once again which has been trampled down and undermined for years.

Last night I put a dream to sleep, a future that I had already given up on. My headache was blinding and my soul already crushed, I couldn't watch the result.

That night I slept tirelessly, I was already convinced that the death of our country, our culture and our people was at hand.

When I awoke, I gathered my thoughts and reached for the remote, ready to read the news of our defeat.

Words fail to express how I felt as it dawned on me. For the first time in as long as I can remember I felt hopeful about our country.
As the afternoon ticked over they theatrically played the result.

Rousing music over the announcement of our Exit, Boris giving an epic speech, Cameron resigning and a long shot of the palace Union Jack.

It's like a movie, the good ending that doesn't exist in reality, but it's happening here now.

I'm doing things differently from now on, I won't take this result for granted. I will always remember our struggle and our Independence Day.

The WRONG ideas. Literally everything, EVERYTHING the Seperatists are frothing at the mouth to have implemented are exactly everything implemented in England's past that fucked the English over; welfare parasitism, turning a major city into an ISIS caliphate, Rotherham, destroying the whole countryside with inefficient windmills and housing, etc. Yet, the SNP want to impose all of this and more on the Scots.

If Scots actually do see through this charade and know this is what the "nationalists" stand for, they have no right to be independent.

This is pretty annoying. I voted leave, my whole family voted leave. Thankfully the vote was the total number and not based on constituencies because I live in Scotland.

Out of the people I grew up with and know through secondary school only about 6, It'd be hard to find 10 so lets say 7. Only 7/200+ of them voted leave. It shows all over the fucking country, the Scottish borders and even the fucking Highlands. I've never been so disappointed in my country.

Now Sturgeon is kicking up shit about having another Independence referendum from the UK so we can join the EU. She's doing this while assuming that the UK actually goes through with the leave result.

My family has been talking about this and we will probably emigrate to England if this goes through. If Scotland wants to abandon the UK and forsake itself then fine but I'll have no part in it.

To who ?
UK industry is only 10% of gdp while financial SERVICES alone are 20%.

What most people realize is that while the UK was in the EU, we had CONSIDERABLE influence other the banking rules made there.

Now that UK is out, EU will still impose it's laws if the UK want access to the European Market. Except this time, it will be dictated mostly by the unopposed French block.

Also passporting right. The reason the city IS the city and that 40% of worldiwde euro transaction are held there is because UK based company are allowed to sell product in europe and declare revenue in the UK, which has most better tax rate. Now that the UK is no longer part of EU, a lots of our team will move to Paris and Frankfurt.

TL;DR
The french won back waterloo without firing a single bullet.

i don't understand why the remain vote was so high here

haven't talked to anyone about it other than my mum who voted leave, i thought it would be a bit more mixed than it was

the big thing that hurt the remain campaign in scotland was turnout, or in other words the amount of scottish people who support remaining in the EU is even more than yesterday's votes would have you believe

really weird desu

UK without it's finance sector is more or less Italy.

Industry is out of fashion since the end of the cold war. There is no profit any more in industry, and there is a worldwide over-production.

The populism rise come from the fact that there is no more redistribution of the profits to the now redundant, useless undeducated mass.

Just like in the early 20th century when the farmers became irrelevant thanks to the agricultural mechanization.

From the date the UK actually leaves all new ones printed/made won't be EU ones. Old ones yet to be expired will still have it on them and be valid but just be a bit out of date.

It's just the same as when they changed the design of the passport, or when they introduced the electronic thing. They won't be replaced, people will just get the new one from a certain date when they renew/get one
>>
>>78509228

Seeing this pic, now I'm going to predict what will happen.
The same thing that happened to us, really.

That fuck, Cameron will go for elections in October, right?
Obviously without triggering article 50.
Now, in the elections, as always, one of the two popular parties will win. Not UKIP, let's not kid ourselves here, UKIP might come up third at best.
And ofcourse whoever wins, Labour or Conservatives, are gonna assume the Brits because they want to stay in EU after all, otherwise they wouldn't have.

These October elections are a trap to keep Britain in EU.

They did the same with us. When Tsipras "won"(lost) the referendum, he decided to go for elections which he used to ignore the outcome. Because during his election campaign was no more about "No to bailouts" like the referendum was, but how best to work the MoU with the Troika without causing too much damage to our society.
People didn't like this ofcourse, people didn't go to vote at all, over 60% of us chose not to vote in these elections (those of us who voted NO as a matter of fact). But it didn't matter, the Yes campaigners voted and that's enough for a new government to be formed.

Be careful, Brits! Be worried that Cameron announced elections before anything else. This trick worked against us and it may well work against you. Corbyn and Cameron (or whoever replaces them) are both gonna run a campaign that doesn't include triggering the Article 50 and taking out of the EU, because they didn't campaign for it anyway. Any one of them is going to win, and your referendum victory is going to be shat like ours was.

My only hope is if your Queen does something to force them to honor it. You might have to appeal to her directly.
>>
>>78515701
>where would we find the money to support them
muh feelings, that's where. dumb nationalist idiots will be easily swayed with patriotic shite about rejoining the homeland, not realising that economically remaining with England is far better

Yeah, most passprot agreements are taken between each countries by themselves.

Country like France have a huge diaspora and are reliant on tourism, so they can get pretty much anywhere in the world and it's rather easy to get passport for France.
On the other hand, austrian passport is not that great without the EU.
