I remember visiting London as a child in the 90's.
A year ago I wouldn't have visited, on account of the growth of anti-semitism, homophobia, and increased danger from islamic terrorist attacks that has accompanied the immigration policies of EU member states in recent years.

I'm a Burger, but from what I understand, Parliment can still turn around and say that they will remain in the EU in spite of the referendum vote. I doubt this will happen for a number of reasons, but it's still a possibility.
Should the PM decide to abide by the people's wishes, there's a specific order that he must enact to formally declare that England is withdrawing from the EU. Once that order is enacted (and some of the Leave party want to delay this until 2020, the next general election), Britain will have two years in which to go through the process of leaving. Once the process has begun, they cannot rescind it.
Should England ever want to rejoin the EU after they leave, it will take a motion passed by ALL existing EU members for them to be accepted back. And you can bet your ass that Germany and France will be salty as all fuck about England leaving for a long time.
