In 1603 we purchased Scotland because they suck.

Ever since then they have lived off of English hard work and charity. They see the EU as a safegaurd against their welfare, so they all voted to stay.

The sad thing is that this is true.

Scot here, most of the vocal passionate people who argue for independence or the remain vote live overseas or live in well off middle class areas and because of this live in a fluffy plastic bubble that think everything happening in England is only make believe.
We have nearly around 40% of the landmass and less population than London so everything looks rosy here.
