Live in rural NT. I have never seen a Muslim here. I had not seen a Muslim at all until I visited Adelaide a couple years ago. Most of them there are Malaysians it seemed with not a lot of middle-easterns.
I went to university in Parramatta and the whole place was crawling with them. I even saw a couple of bin bags in Westfield once.
The muzzies I've seen in Melbourne are OK the younger females mostly have headscarves and that's about it, I grew up in country Victoria and there were christian cunts who wore headscarves.

My city Christchurch has a few Somalians that came in the 90s, followed by Afghanis, also a few from here, a few from there. You tend to see them in the western suburbs, mostly Ilam and Riccarton which are very diverse neighbourhoods. You'll see muzzies there every day. But the numbers are still small.
All the new Syrian refugees are being settled in Wellington and Dunedin.
I live in Melbourne, it's mostly fine but they are quarantined into certain suburbs and whilst statistically they are still minorities in those areas they are pretty much all you will see, it just seems like there are so many with all of the whites staying at home or working.
Even in these places I feel safe alone, I've had trouble with other minority groups. It's obvious that I am despised by them but at worst they'll just silently snicker behind my back.
Luckily for us, Aussie culture seems to involve vigilante defence. If an Aussie gets bashed by outsiders it'll make news and you'll be sure to have some dodgy cops or true-blues on the scene to sort things out. This scares people from targeting Aussies like the Swedish are targeted in Sweden and now Brits in the UK.
