If you're anti-gay, that's the only thing I can think of. The position in and of itself seems to be the only argument against it, which really seems to imply that there's no argument against it at all.
I'm personally pro-gay marriage on the grounds that, in doing so, it limits degeneracy. Gays who are married are more likely to live stable, monogamous lives than those who aren't, which in turn means that they're less likely to go around slutting it up and spreading AIDS all over the place.

As far as I know in America, you can't force a church to wed you. But you can force a small business to bake your gay cake. Marriage is a legal license, similar to a driver's license here. There are tax incentives and so forth.
