It's what I'm going for now if I can get into a program, otherwise I'm going to fallback and work on tenure doing research in behaviorism. If you have the time and money, you might as well go for your M.D. and go back later for your Ph.D. I think the field itself is legit but corrupted by the pharma industry and unfortunately many psychiatrist just write out scrips instead of including any sort of therapy, rehabilitation or guidance. I think something like CBT should be included with medication and I think it should be considered when to use medication and when not to. To sum it up I think psychiatry is legit but the entire medical industry is fucked up.

I don't know where you are along in schooling but start planning out your end game now. There are lots of reasons to hate Facebook, but I have one that might be new to you: I have two troll accounts that I made a year or two ago and have never used, but I log in every few months to keep them from being deleted.
Every time I log in, both fucking accounts ask me to follow (or friend, or whatever the fb word is) Zuckerberg. Nobody else.
That is pathetic on so many levels. Mainly, someone who has a lot of control, put that shit there to suck up to him, and nobody else has the balls to say "dude, that's gay as fucking hell". Including Zuck.
The whole thing is as fucked up as Digg or Reddit ever was. But just like Microsoft and their breathtaking incompetence, once you get established, you can do whatever you like and the herds of sheep just go BAAAH BAAAH BAAAH.
