Who are my fellow Ausfags voting for in the upcoming fed. election? On that note, does Australia have any strong nationalist parties catching up? From what I understand, Australia First, One Nation, and the ALA are the best we have in that regard.

Not as strong as liberal democrats.

Besides, it shits the Marxists when we use the word liberal instead of liberty, even if they mean the same thing. They worked so hard to take the word liberalism from us it'll be just so delicious when we take it back.

Of course I think its a fucking good thing. FYI i'm not a Libertarian, I just like "small government" how the Libs envision it.

When I say small government I don't mean reducing our (already generous) social safety net and welfare programs, I just think adding more and programs is fucking stupid and this will be the pasth we go down if Labor win.

>Falling for the trickle down meme.

Once again. We are NOT the US. We have high personal income taxes, FAR more regulations that prevent extremely high and hard-to-justify corporate salaries and we do not have a fucking inequality problem. We are comparable to Sweden and France.

Its a LOT harder to reduce the size of givernment than it is to increase it.

Fossil fuel industry?

We don't need more and more spent on hospitals and schools. Throwing money on schools does nothing to increase educational achievement.

>war on renewable energy, so much that we are the second worst nation on environmental action in the developed world after fucking Saudi Arabia

Source plz. I find this hard to believe. I'm quite sure tha Libs have good environmental policies and have signed international agreements on emissions/climate change + have proposed to spend money to save the reefs.

>batshit retarded NBN plan, utilizing obsolete, high-maintenence technology making us the nation with the 60th slowest internet speed on Earth

NBN under Abbot was a bad move, but Labor are never ever going to change what has been done already. Besides, my NBN isn't bad at all, and something like 90% of people with NBN don't even use the highest speed packages available to them.

would you buy a machine that could print money?
that sounds sustainable right?

it costs $10,000 and prints $100 every month.
it has a lifespan of three years.

would you still buy this sustainable machine?

all "green" energy is this machine.

we should have the country running on nuclear power and vehicles running on solids to liquids fuel.
we would be an energy self sufficient country.

>>
>>78129353
what threat to our agriculture are you talking about?

wildlife and foliage are expendable in the name of human lives, which is the ultimate cost of an energy poor nation. once again environmentalism is the strong arm of modern marxism.
that is not to say that a win win balance can not be struck.

so south australia and tasmania can stop buying power from victorias coal stations then?
we have the most prime landscape for utilising nuclear energy.

coal jews are nothing but business. i dont think any industry should recieve special government treatment, but if you think they need to be stopped and replaced with greedy green jews (ones that are far easier to see for what they are ie carbon credits scams) all in the name of anti capitalism, then i will stop wasting my time replying to you.

we already have a booming energy industry with trememndous scope for improvement if bureaucracy would get out of the way (ie ban on nuclear, the insurmountable hurdles a mining / energy company has to jump through compared to any other business that is prohibitive of all but the 'greedy coal jews' to afford)

I'm not even saying that we replace all fossil fuels with renewables. Not immediately anyway, that would be insane. But fossil fuels are finite. What do you think would happen to a country that relies entirely on coal for its energy and economy when mines run dry? We would collapse while we could be making use of the space and ample amounts of sunlight and wind in that barren wasteland in inland Australia.

I agree with you that we should be utilizing nuclear energy though, so nice strawman from this dipshit >>78130980

>The only people that want "muh small gubmint" are people that want the corporate elite to run everything at the expense of everybody else (ie. Jews)

You can have a good regulatory envirnment and a small government at the same time.

Like I said before I am NOT a Libertarian.

A well regulated financial sector and economy is what prevents the corporate jew problem like in the US, but we are in no way comparable to the US regulatory environment. You are literally spouting out memes.

>You literally think a 1% tax cut will cause an explosion in income inequality and a corporate jew takeover.

solar energy and wind energy are best thought of as the money machine i mentioned before.
they CAN NOT PRODUCE MORE ENERGY THAN THE ENERGY IT COSTS TO MANUFACTURE AND MAINTAIN THEM.

it may sound and feel good but it is in no way sustainable or green.

to produce 20% of Australias energy with "green" wind power would require clear felling and the use of 25,531km^2 of land.
does that sound like a good use for our prime agriculture land and for our flora and fauna?

>>
>>78129353
>>78131557

for 20% of our energy to come from "green" solar
only 6,863,468km^2 of land is needed.

90% of the country.

so green and feel good.

that is not to mention the unimaginable amount of precious resources that would be needed to facilitate such infrastructure all of which would require mining.
releasing hundreds of millions of tonnes of c02 into the atmosphere along the way, the thing you think is bad.
also they still wont make more energy than it took to create them.

are you starting to see the lunacy of the "green" (marxist) ideology?

How much could it possibly take to maintain them? You build solar panels and leave them in the empty arid landscape. Do you have any sources on those numbers? Even still, that's still only taking solar power into account. Combine that with nuclear energy, wind, hydro dams etc we could easily hit at least a respectable RET (if we loosely define "renewable energy" as "anything that isn't fossil fuels"), that thing the LNP think is bad.

My biggest concern with our suckling on coal like a teat is that said teat is eventually going to dry out and wither up, leaving us to starve, and that scares the shit out of me. The one indisputable fact is that coal and oil won't be around forever, and we need to gradually lower our dependence on it and allow our economy to adjust so the rug doesn't catch us off guard when it's swept out from underneath.

The Republicans don't have the same fucking philosophy as the LNP.

The problems with inequality in the US started with the Reagan movement of the 80s to overly-deregulate the economy and Greenspan's Ayn Rand Jew philosophy that caused the financial sector to melt-down and allow CEOs and corporations to pay themselves fuck loads of money.

I don't know if the numbers are online, I read them in Dr. Iam Plimers book "Not for Greens".
I would highly recommend you give it a read. there may be an ebook copy you could find and i will tel lyou the page numbers but otherwise I'm not typing it all out. he goes into great detail about exactly these issues.

What is the point of having a renewable energy target if all it leads to is wasted money, land, resources and MORE carbon dioxide?

there are vast amounts of coal left, there are orders of magnitude more undiscovered, technology for getting the most of mining is aleways improving opening up new energy reserves (ie coal seam gas, horizontal drilling and fracking and oil shales) the likes of which are only not used because it is uneconimical to do so.
when coal becomes more scarce, prices go up and so does the incentive to use these more expensive methods of energy production which leads to innovation and improved efficiency and effectiveness and more technological breakthroughs unlocking new energy possibilities.

also this is again ignoring the most logical, safe, environmetally friendly and obvious choice for our countries energy in nuclear power stations.

This. Honestly I'd be happy in a NatSoc country with less of the exterminating and invading. I'd rather the people be unified and proud, working together as a collective without any multiculturalism or special snowflake bullshit. With strict immigration policies, castle laws, bigger government with heavy regulations, and sufficient taxes to meet the needs of the nation. Where strength and good health are encouraged, because we're all working together to build and maintain our civilization. No petty squabbles in parliament where nothing gets done, political correctness is shunned in favor of hard evidence, and where the select few don't buy the politicians to push their own agenda. No more selling our land and resources to the Chinese and putting our jobs overseas.

One government by the people, for the people. Unfortunately it will likely never happen because people immediately associate it with the 6 trillion jews.

What is some arbitrary definition of freedom worth against that?

The LDP's policy removing quotas won't result in more immigration. It will result in less.

If the LDP's immigration policy was enacted it would look like this:
>To move to australia you have to pay $50,000
>You are then allowed to become a permanent resident
>Permanent residents are not allowed to receive welfare or get a passport and if they commit crimes they are deported
>To be eligible to for australian citizenship you must live in australia for 10 years, have a clean criminal record, pass a citizenship test, prove you are working and plan on continuing to work and have connections with the australian community or you are denied.

Now you may be thinking "but they talk about 'free immigration agreements' what is that?"

Well that means selected countries deemed culturally compatible don't have to pay the $50,000 fee. So countries like New Zealand, Canada and Britain, don't have to pay $50,000 but they still have the same restrictions as other permanent residents and are unable to mooch off welfare etc.

>the free movement of people is not only a basic human right but also contributes to economic growth [...] Immigrant nations such as America, Australia, New Zealand and Canada have benefited enormously from high levels of immigration.
What am I misinterpreting here?

They're saying that subsidised healthcare should go to those who need it.

The nats stop the liberals from going full lolbritarian and if they had more power there would be less Chinese buying up the country.

Honestly I think most other nationalities on /pol/ would beg for a government like ours

that's what they want you to think. they're saying medicare is expensive therefore we will cut it and only the most needy will get it. that's just the start

>Nationals
Except the greens are the worst party in the country to vote for since unlike even shitter open border faggot parties the greens have actually amassed significant influence.

Are you a diagnosed retard? You speak english worse than a first generation vietnamese immigrant.

Also, the carbon tax is imposed under the grounds that it is somehow helping the environment but you just admitted that it is actually about redistribution of wealth. It won't do anything to help "hard workin peoples" it's taking money from them and giving it to doll bludgers, a large and increasing percentage under labors immigration policy will be shitty immigrants who can't speak english and have no interest in working and just want free shit.

Trying to explain abbots plan to my friends at the time was physically painful, it's not like there's anyone worth voting for in australia atm though.
