>The Dublin Camp Parks garrison is on lockdown and a search of the base is underway, officials said. The gates to the Dougherty Road entrance were closed and traffic was backing up at about 11 a.m.
Fort Hunter Liggett Public Affairs Office spokesperson Eric Jones told Patch that multiple agencies were responding to the base to assist with an “unknown emergency.” Officials from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said via Twitter that there were unconfirmed reports of an intruder on the Army base.
>At this time, there are no shelter-in-place orders for residents in the surrounding communities, according to Jones. Alameda County Sheriff’s spokesperson JD Nelson says the nearby Santa Rita Jail has not been affected by the lockdown.
