MSM have so much perverted the news by false equivalencies (ex: Trump is racist > Hillary let a US ambassador being murdered by islamists) that everything is suspicious
Most people are desensitized to this crap or too dumb to understand the implications, to have them grasp the content you would need to explain them about it like in middle school.
