First, the past few years have proven that polling is pretty much fucking useless. I doubt national polling even has 50% accuracy at this point. You might as well flip a coin.
That being said, intellectual honest compels me to admit that, regardless of what the numbers say, Clinton is on track to an overwhelming victory at this point.Listen, I hate Hitlery as much as anybody. But at this point, Trump's campaign is the slowest, more deliberate train wreck I've ever seen.
For months, I sat back and felt sorry for Bernie supporters. They were so enamored by him that they couldn't see the writing on the wall. Now, I feel the same way about Trump supporters.
At the end of the day, Bernie supporters didn't really hate Hillery all that much. They bought into his socialist idealism, but they're all just liberal at heart, and they'll follow any liberal, including Clinton. The anti-trump crowd, though, really does hate him. He's just not getting the support he should have at this point, and that's deeply troubling.
