Gdynia, Gdanksk, Sopot mostly. Tri city is a wonderful place to raise a family. We also went out to the country here in Pomerania.
A short side trip with my wife alone took us to Zakopane and Krakow. In between, we found the small church where my great grandfather was baptized before coming to USA.
In short, Poland has as much to offer in terms of culture, art, food and hospitality than any other European country.
Maybe to a smaller scale.
I also see that US Polish immigrants tend to be more from poor farm/mountain areas of the South. If we knew the more metropolitan Poles, we would have a very different opinion.

I expected Poland to be shit when I was first invited there. I had been to around 50 countries prior to that.
I have to say that I have NEVER been treated as well as I was by Poles. They are extremely nice people. I was invited into many strangers homes.

It was very easy, they promised to give away FREE SHIT. 500 PLN for each kid, we've never had anything like this before, so people fell for it. Also, Donald Tusk, the leader of the other main party, PO, decided to screw all this shit and get a better job and became the President of the European Council, leaving PO to incompetent dorks Ewa Kopacz and Grzegorz Schetyna.
Also, PiS's first government, 2005-2007 had very different policies, they weren't socialist back then.
