Trump's entire campaign is a ponzi scheme. His FEC filing was just released, and not only is the campaign almost bankrupt, 20% of its spending went to companies Trump himself owns.
Not only that, but Trump is drawing a salary from his own campaign, and may well be the only candidate in history to actually be a paid member of his own campaign staff. Speaking of which, he's down to 27 staff on his campaign after yesterday's firing of Cory Whatshisname, which is just sad.

If I had to make a guess it would be that Lewandowski probably encouraged Trump to "keep being Trump" which pushed Trump into labeling Curiel as "a mexican" instead of as a member of "la raza" which would have been the smart thing to do and Manafort pushed Trump to fire Lewandowski because in the general election too much off the cuff crazy bullshit isn't as useful. All Trump has to do to win is to present himself in a more reasonable light and part of that comes from not starting fights he doesn't need to and just letting Hillary say "clearly white men are to blame for the Orlando terror attack".
Trump was already tied in Pennsylvania and ahead in Ohio and Florida, now after Orlando he's probably way ahead. It doesn't matter if a million more Democrats vote in California, you can't win more electors by winning more votes. Trump will get a majority of votes anyway since his low numbers are because of a combination of Bloomberg and other slanted polls which oversample Democrats and try to push specific opinions and Republican women being little cunts and being lukewarm on Trump because "he is mean".
