When she finally managed to escape and Littlefinger offered her the service of the Knights of the Vale as recompence she refused, and only changed her mind when her shitty diplomacy prevented her and Jon from getting more men. Then on top of all of that she deliberately withholds this information from Jon, waiting until Jon's entire army is slaughtered for them to come in and save the day, leaving Jon with no military force left to oppose Littlefinger's inevitable betrayal as the only lord left in the North with a standing army. If she'd just told Jon about Littlefinger she could have brought the Knights of the Vale sooner and thousands of lives, including Rickon's, might have been spared.

Before his death he was a true nobleman who constantly had to battle between the struggles of protecting traditions and sacrificing his vows to do what was ultimately best.
Since his resurrection he basically said "fuck it, I give up". Now his goal is to unite his homeland but he can't do it because he wasn't a true native (being a bastard) so he has to let Sansa be the true emblem of the cause and he's basically just a military commander under her reign. He's not impassioned anymore, he's content to make a base-line effort and go all-in on a bad hand because he doesn't really care anymore and doesn't fear death.
