I've had a looming feeling over me for awhile now, like there are very evil vibes in the world for the past 2-3 years now.

(such as San Francisco, NYC, Detroit, Chicago etc.) I think there won't be many (if any) wars in the rural areas such as the midwest, the south though due to a more conservative and traditional society, where race and gender relations it seems are stronger and are more composed.

If you finish a bottle of milk, juice, water, fill it up and put it away. If you buy canned foods, put one in a long term storage cupboard. If you have bags of rice or beans, put 1/4 of them in a sealed jar and store it away. Keep adding to your collection.

The feeling of anxiety is a breath away from inner peace. Even if you are an angry or hurt person, it is as it should be. Look let me be brutally honest with you. Unless like the rest of us you haven't been firing guns from an early age, chances are when SHTF even if you have hundreds of hours rifle training and thousands of rounds down range, you will lack the mind body connection to keep calm and maintain a smooth pull.

At your current level of experience, no amount of gear, guns or training will help you.
If I blindfolded you and drove you for 40minutes away from your home, would you know where you are? Could you find your way back? If I asked you to find the closest running water or wooded area could you do it without a map or compass or anything else to aid you? If I said find the nearest high ground in 15miles you have less than 2 hours to get there on foot, could you do it?
Survival is going to be about knowing your surroundings and how to move within them. Can you move with cover, can you stay up 48 hours, can you work on a weeks empty stomach, do you know how to dig a grave, set up traps for animals, check air ground and water for purity with just the clothes you have on you.

It feels a little better seeing these threads, but it seems to be a global almost paranoia about something. Even the generally happy professor seemed monotone and deadpan.
I've seen the cities become less social, people ceasing public contact or chats in public, and have seen the psychotic (and universally laughed at) brand of leftism, something that we joked about for years, become universally accepted and somehow not a joke.
But this feeling seems to be hitting everyone. I've never seen people seem this agitated or upset before. College summer courses are laid back socialization with everyone. You always find friends or just good aquantsinces. Everyone talks to everyone, it's easy to get numbers from cute girls, and even the professor is happy to teach.
I think a lot of people are feeling it too and are having the same reaction. People are a little alienated when walking through the hallways, but the whole school seemed downright paranoid.
I'm just glad I'm not alone in this, and am not alone in wanting to discuss this, but I have to let you guys know that far more people are feeling it too. The class socialization just seemed to die because of this feeling.

While a good percentage of /pol/ is pushing 30 or 40 now, I'm only 20, and haven't had a lot of time or money to place in survival knowledge. I'm trying by doing a lot of reading up and taking extended camping and hikes, but there's only so much to train for when you work and have a strenuous college schedule. The weirdest part was that everyone was checking their phones constantly, but what I could see from the people in front of me, they were rarely texting or doing anything besides pretending to be busy. Even the cute Portuguese girl was dead silent and said nothing. She's usually texting all class.
The worst part is I could see some people getting goosebumps but many people were glancing at others and looking behind them.
Shit was weird. If it continues today, I might speak up and say something to break the silence. No happening talk or power level talk, just standard, does anybody else feel off?

Perhaps a way to cure this would be to emphasize and encourage strong morals, encourage and teach Christianity again and reject all things Marxist. After religion was mocked, rejected and taken out of society, there is no concrete moral code for anyone to follow anymore.

I have a cache of fuel and supplies 200km from where I am, and own land 400km further along the coast, it's about 50km from any population centre and over 600km from a major one. My car has a go bag packed with clothes and medical supplies.

I think this has become something of a nervous habit for many people associated with anxiety relief, one that is becoming increasingly common. I am in the military and have seen it in soldiers, too, which is even stranger to me because -- this is difficult to articulate. When we are in the field in a shitty situation, everyone hot and dirty and miserable, what we are SUPPOSED to be doing is "bro-ing out", guy talk stuff and bonding. I have been in the military for ten years at this point and even I can remember a time when this was the case, for the people who've been in much longer the transformation is considerably more apparent and they love to complain about it to everyone.
We were at the firing range the other day and when people were waiting around for their turn they weren't joking around, talking shit and passing the time.
