For scale:
190 pounds a week is approx. 100 billion DOLLARS A year
The us populaton is around 300 mil whil britan is 100 mil.
Our fedral budget is around 4.8 tril, so what britan dumps to the euwould be equivalent to 1/48th of our federal budget, but since britan is 1/3 our population, assuming tax revenue is proportional, would be about 1/16 of their federal budget, which means around 6 percent of their taxes are going to the EU or 1,000 dollars per citizen, and not doin the Brits any good.
