most of europes wealth lies in the UKs financial sector. if they leave, the rest of europe is essentially told that theyre on their own. germany provides most of their economic power, so the uk will pretty much fucked, seeing as there aint jack shit going on in the UK.
if the uk leaves, then thats pretty much the ok for other nations to leave the EU, undoing about a century of work, returning to a pre-ww1 shit show where the europeans fight amongst eachother, rather than acting like the cohesive unit they claim to be.
europeans need to get over themselves. ok, you have a bunch of different cultures. but aside from languages and regional cultural differences, you have one great oppurtunity to show that different people can get along.
however, this is hindered by the fact that the EU leadership is a bunch of pandering pushovers with no spine, so they want to tell everyone what to do, and cant say no when a refugee comes knocking at their door.
the EU is weak in that their military force is the US, and with NATO getting a little shitty, things are just looking dismal.
the anglo-european world needs to unite. you can have the US doing its thing, while the euros do their thing, and meanwhile, africa and the middle east are starting to realize they should probably work together, while the asian states figured this out long ago.

Wrong. The UK exports more than it imports to the EU. Also; there's a long queue of nations who would jump at trade deals with the 5th largest economy in the world. Two of them [US/China] being larger economies than the whole EU combined.
The UK will be fine; barring maybe a short-term dip that would be far shallower than anyone else's.
