I hate all the big cities, there's too many people, the people from the north, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia are similar to us in personality, it has to be the rain, we and the (north) Navarre people are basically the same people separated in two regions, Castilla and Leon is so big I can't generalize about them and La Rioja is a neat place, god wine right at the source but a bit too warm for me.
The Catalans are universally known for being cheapskates and never ever leaving a cent, their southern siblings the valencians are more open and Spain ran through their blood, at least the last time I was there. I haven't visited Andalucia or murcia yet, but they sound interesting. I have friends in extremadura and most of them are more fit to be artists than being working people, but that might be because I've only been to Salamanca.
