Bad comparison. She's the one with public support and back up. She's the one whom the law and police will side with. She's the one whom most of the bystanders would instantly jump in to save.
It's easy to appear strong and brave if you have nothing to fear and aren't risking anything. Especially if in doing so you ensure you will be rewarded and celebrated.
