I sort of feel like my dad is still alive because I saw him so rarely that my relationship with him is basically the same as it was before his death.
I didn't even feel anything other than pity and regret. In a way, he was dead to me long before he actually died. I don't mean that in an angry, spiteful way. I just sort of gradually gave up with him and the place for him in my heart grew smaller and smaller.
