Wall probably won't happen, or at least not the way he describes it. Walls have little effect when built away from population centers because then they just become expensive obstacles. The reason Israel's wall and the Berlin wall were effective is because they are/were built in busy population centers - there are people nearby who can respond to climbers/breaches quickly.
I don't think congress (especially a Republican one) would OK such an expensive plan, especially when the cost/benefit is so suspect and so much of the border doesn't have roads and other infrastructure to support such a huge construction project.
As far as mass deportations goes, I think the proposal would have a difficult time passing because of how many law enforcement agents would have to be diverted from their existing duties or newly hired to perform the incredibly difficult task of actually finding all these illegals in a country that doesn't require its citizens to carry their citizenship papers on them at all times or allow law enforcement to legally randomly stop people on no other charges/suspicions.
