Well, you may have seen this post in previous threads but to counter the recent shill tactic to point out to RCP misleading poll average I'll be posting an updated set of charts.
The first (pic related) is the linear trend from 2016-01-01 to 2016-06-15. Although it shows a decrease in Trump numbers Hillary took a much harder drop in the same period.
Remember this is the trend. Simply connecting the first and last poll in the period doesn't show the trend, only the difference between those two data points.

Third chart is similar to the previous one, but in a 14 days moving average. Worst than the 30d moving average and yet, still better than the RCP.
Notice that with the Y axis showing the full range the difference, even if it increases in this chart, is still within the margin of error (3%) or very close.

Look how that huge outlier in the beginning of May completely skews the chart for a week and then it goes back to normal.
That is the exact effect we are seeing this week because of the Bloomberg poll, as soon as the rest of the polls come the real difference between the candidates will be less pronounced.

And now, the complete set plus some more analysis.
The often posted RCP averaged polls has some inherent flaws that make them misleading (at best) or biased (at worst).
Above a set of charts, using the same data points as RCP, but with different methodologies to identify the general trends:
> Linear Trend
> Moving Average (over 30 days)
> Moving Average (over 14 days)
> Moving Average (over 7 days)
The first two charts show a more general trend, uncontaminated by the day to day oscilation caused by retcent events. Both show the gap between the candidates reducing significantly in the past few months.
The other two (1 week and 2 weeks moving average) are fickle and their trends are a product of the most recent events that reflect immediately in the polls.
Even in these cases, when the margin of error of error of the polls is taken in account, the difference between the candidates is not conclusive to determine a clear front runner.
The often posted RCP Poll average includes only the most recent poll of each pollster allowing for clear outliers (like the Bloomberg polls) to have a significant impact on the average.
Other flaws in the RCP poll average include:
> Not showing the full Y Axis, magnifying any change in poll numbers.
> Not highlighting the margin of error (averaging 3% in all of the polls)
> Considering the publication date of the poll instead of the date when the poll was actually taken
In conclusion: polls are a good way to measure long term trends assuming they are mostly unbiased. However this assumption is rarely correct and the media will usually try to fabricate cohclusions based on short term trends displayed by polls.
Always use your heads, question the narrative and don't believe blindly in anything. There is a lot at stake and people will do anything in their power to influence, manipulate and ultimately control you.
Shills are in the back foot now, having to resort to attack these charts instead of just trolling.

Well, not so fast.
The latest Real Clear Politics Poll has Clinton at 44.1% to Trump’s 38.3%. Trump had a bad week. Other polls show him down as well. Here are a few reasons why.
1. The Judge Curiel affair left a bad taste in voters’ mouths.
2. Clinton’s attack machine went into overdrive, with the help of Master Persuader-in-Chief, President Obama. The lame attacks of the past got far sharper, persuasion-wise.
3. Trump University. Yuck.
4. Clinton clinched (sort of) the democratic nomination, and that’s good for a bump.
