Pol.... We have issues...

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/123450

> Cancel the planned referendum on Britain's continued membership of the EU.

> According to the BBC (as at the 26th February 2016) 444 MPs of (almost) all parties have declared their support for Britain staying a member of the European Union on the basis of the reform package negotiated by the Prime Minister, David Cameron.

> Constituting more than 68% of the votes in the House of Commons, this represents a rare and overwhelming cross-party Parliamentary majority. If it is the settled will of such a large majority in the House of Commons, Parliament should now rise to the occasion and assert the very sovereignty Brexit campaigners claim it has lost. Parliament should ratify the agreement reached by the Government with the European Union and confirm Britain’s membership of the European Union on that basis.

This was on <200 votes last night...
It will easily reach the required 10,000 today...

If this gets picked up by media, WE FUCKED...

>>

What could you do about it?
>>
So 8,000-something increasingly nervous Remainers signed an Internet petition?
>>
Can't see this as anything other than hilarious. People are complaining about the EU being undemocratic? Best shut down the referrendum at the last minute. Not that it would happen.

#ripbrexit
>>
>>77611825
about right...
my worry:
This gets picked up by the media and shilled as.
"Growing sentiment to cancel the referendum"
Anyone on remain side is gong to shill this HARD...
why wouldn't they try both:
- call off referdenum, playing "respects" card for Jo Cox. No one on remain can go against this openely..."You don't think we should respect jo?"
- if that fails, they can still try to vote out
>>
They're not going to cancel it. It's far, far too late for that.
>>
>>77612302
its not too late for them to try...
>>
The 10k petition would be then have to be discussed in the House of Commons. To which, unless the politicians want to commit both political and actual suicide, will be laughed out.

If the referendum gets thrown out last minute, there will be protests and possibly riots for stopping a democratic process from occurring. The MPs that sided with this petition will not get reelected and some lunatics might actually come after them.

Finally, it's not just a small number of people that want the referendum. It's quite a few people on both sides of the issue. I would imagine that all people for Brexit and then some for remain would be really pissed off about this.

tl;dr it's nothing to be concerned about.
>>
>>77611639

Why even draw attention to it if you want it to fail?
>>
>>77612192
>fake names like niggerdick mclovin

>>
>>77612409
Correction, at 10k they'd get a generic response of "This is happening whether you like it or not."

At 100k then it is 'considered' for debate in parliament.

Not shilling, there's logic here.

As I said it will fucking backfire, you lot don't have to sign it, if the media shill for it, let them, don't be panicked by this, it really is nothing to be panicked by.

It will look like a stitch up by the government to avoid the referendum.

It will make them look weak if they don't read it out in parliament but that's what they will do, it will not be read out or discussed.

Seriously, whichever way you look at this petition it does leave absolutely NO damage whatsoever.

No, all of you stop.

You do not need to sign this, let the media shill for it.

Just sit back and ignore it.

Don't force it, you force it then it could backfire.

Let it run its course, then after we can see the voter breakdown areas and we can use past evidence to show that it's easy to fake these .gov petitions.

We don't need to do anything. No bots, don't spam it.

Take no part in this, it will backfire without our intervention.

Trust me /pol/. I'm not shilling you, this is a win win situation for leave, we have no need to vote surge it, let it get shilled by MSM to make people even angrier, let them fuck up by redpilling more people.

Let the remain camp tie the noose to hang themselves. It can't come from us. Even the faintest whiff of interference from the leave side, and it becomes win-win for them. If it backfires, they can blame it on us. If it doesn't, they can take the credit. We should leave this alone, then we balance the chance of it backfiring without needlessly raising the odds of it accomplishing anything.

I know your intentions are well anon, I do.

But you misunderstand. If you start bots spamming it, you need to start off from Yorkshire and Labour/Remain strongholds.

Don't be random with the postcode searches.

But we don't need to do that, because it will do it itself.

Bot spamming people don't take into account regions and their voting intentions, that's how you make it look more politically motivated.

Hence why I advise to leave it, because those areas will naturally spam it en mass.

We literally do not have to do anything.

But I know your intentions are good. But we want this petition if it hits the news to show that it's remain areas/labour areas that have signed it in the voter map that's produced.

Which will be in the press and social media, which will show that the left and remain campaign cannot be trusted.

It helps us if we take this path.

Do you understand?

With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy -- willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.

I do have a concern though.

A valid concern.. If this falls into the hands of leddit and they want to bot bomb it, they could in theory just spam random areas everywhere. Not specific areas in the North/Yorkshire.

Perhaps we could set the ball rolling by spamming areas in Birstall/Yorkshire first as a major hotspot but we have to be careful.

We need numbers of people that live there and a few postcodes to let it stem from there so it becomes politically motivated reasons for them to demand this petition.

Understand?
>>
>>77619914
Scratch this for a moment.

>>77618331
We need a very good agent to infiltrate leddit.

Appeal to the emotional ones and take as many screenshots as possible that suggests using a bot to manipulate the vote.

Then those screens can be released to MSM that the remain campaign is trying to organise an end to the EU referendum.

But they've got to be smart.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

n every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Don't need to senpai...
Currently getting 1k votes every 45 minutes ish... (pic related)
Even if it stays at the same pace it'll hit 100k by Sunday evening...

If it speeds up.... Even Better!!

It gets ignored, no harm done.
If it gets picked up by media and mentioned, it makes the Left look like scared anti-democratic cry babies....

Just sit back and wait...

I imagine that it'll start to pick up pace soon and Lefties will start pushing it themselves...

Tooooo risky....

Stay well away from leddit for health reasons...

Let them push this themselves, twitter is picking up... Soon someone will dump it on leddit.

Best is if its not one of us...

Does anyone have any morality or dignity? Are all non-Brits as subhuman as all those here?
>>
This is irrelevant. The referendum will happen. They can't do anything about it at this point. All should be well as long as the Brexit Brits do their part and vote.
>>
How can Brexiters justify an election going ahead? We gave you your referendum, and you just used it as a platform to spread hate. Thanks to your vile rhetoric, a woman has been killed by a white man who was known as a Brexiter and a member of a far-right neo-Nazi organisation. This is the future under Brexit: a return to Nazism, where women are murdered in the street for having the 'audacity' to have a different opinion.

Sometimes the people who actually understand the issue have to step in and say enough is enough. If this referendum went ahead, it would be an insult to the memory of Jo Cox MP. Do the right thing and sign that petition.

get to it, /pol/. make Britain actually debate in their Parliament whether they're a free country or not
>>
>>77620747
Ok but

>>77620917
It will go to leddit, and they could vote rig all over the nation including brexit areas. I'm still undecided if that goes for us or against us you understand?

I figured if it goes to leddit then someone should be watching them and taking screens and obtaining hard evidence of them vote botting, to submit around and show around that the remainers are dedicated to pulling this off.

Understand?

We need to get proof of them doing it, to use against them.

To use against the remain campaign. If we can.
>>
>>77620647
Already happened.

>taxation is theft
No it isn't. We were kind with you on the taxes too, since HoC could decide the final tax rate, so we only collected the tax on tea. You should be thankful that you weren't a working-class Brit, because you would have to pay more taxes, but not vote in your govt.
>>
>>77621349
don't stress senpai.

THE VOTE IS NOT GOING TO BE CANCELED... esp by this shitty petition...
Even if it got 5 million votes between now and then, ITS NOT GOING TO GET CANCELED

It would literally be riots in the street in the right think their vote is being taken away.

So what happens now:
- Left keep pushing it, ignoring the fact it makes them look like anti democratic dicks...
- Left believe this will happen and hopefully loose momentum else where.
- Someone mentions it on Media and gets an instant BACKFIRE from BREXIT.

Only a lefty fool would think this is good for their cause...

Sure, if you are polling Welsh pubs where the average age of patrons is 60.

Nationally it seems unlikely more than 60% are d dictated to leave.
