Office fires (any fuel would have burned off) cannot cause a skyscraper to collapse, and if you watch any video of the WTC descent what you are watching cannot be characterized as a "collapse" anyway. The buildings aren't mereley pulverized, they are turned to dust. Not even classic demolitions leave so little debris. How could office fires be more efficient than controlled demolition? Why even have demolition companies if you can bring down a tower by severing the core of a building in one place and start fires?
