I don't really share pol's view on muslims but when there are two billion muslims and at least one Muslim nuclear power I have a hard time thinking of them as an oppressed minority.
The only thing liberals care about is their own moral superiority. When another group is doing something wrong, they don't want them to change, because if they do, and if they do improve, then the liberals lose their status of being morally superior. They don't want the rape to stop. They don't want the terrorism to stop. They don't want any of it to stop. They can't allow themselves to believe that it can stop. The Europeans became too good, too tolerance, too peaceful, whatever, and these liberals lost their minds. Their identity is to be better than other people. When you're good, when you're doing everything right, they can't be better than you. That's what they hate male feminists. They don't want you to care. All they want to do is to prove that you're a bad person and that they're better than you. Everything that you "can't do" or "can't say" according to these people, they want you to do those things. They don't actually believe in anything. They don't care about the people they say they care about or the causes they say they champion. They're acutely aware of the fact that the idea of "transgender" people is going to be repulsive to the majority of us. They didn't want us to accept it. They wanted us to reject it so they could feel like they're better than us. They don't care about black people. They want them to fail and die. Which means they're on your side. "It's these Democrat policies that keep blacks in poverty and create high crime, liberals are the real racists!" They want to strangle you when you say that. "Black on black crime." They want them to murder each other. And so do you. All they want is to be one of the good ones. They heard Islamophobia is a problem, they don't want to be a part of that problem. The short answer is that it makes them feel good. They are showing the people "in power" that they are better than them by sticking up for those they 'oppress'. Therefore they are morally superior and at the same time, the people they support will 'unite' against the oppressors.
