- I was on the 6th floor, the intense shaking was close to 5 minutes, in two distinct waves

- When the second wave of shaking hit, it was a vertical shake, and was the worse I've ever felt. I figured that was the end.

It was a 9.0, no one alive in japan had ever felt a quake of the size. Everyone was pretty panicky.

Not really.

My dad prepped for Y2K though.

Pretty much felt that way during the main shaking. Dragging myself back up 16 stories was pretty hard.

I went through a 6.0 on the 28th floor in california, it only lasted ~45 seconds but seemed like eternity. I can't imagine 5 minutes of a 9.0.

Did anyone you know die? Did you bond with the people you talked with afterwards? I can't imagine it would seem like nothing would be the same afterwords.

I was a witness, and slightly injured in the 2013 Boston Bombing

I suffered from PTSD for a while afterwards and had to leave the city, but I'm back.

I have nothing else to really say about it other than I hope that fucking kid dies a worse death than his brother.

Near the zoo at the third highest point in D.C. I remember it was clear but windy and you could mostly hear the echoes of EMS vehicles. Everyone evacuated downtown, including my parents who both worked downtown, and we didn't have school again till Friday (happened on a Tuesday) and I was pissed we didn't get more time off from school.

Well, what happened in detail was that we had an ordinarily schedule "morning meeting" every tuesday anyways after 2nd period, which would have been 9:45 or so AM, where the headmaster would chat up the high school for 20 minutes. She told us what had happened, they wheeled in some tvs, and I remember thinking first that it seemed unreal, like a movie. Mostly, we were concerned about terorrists further bombing D.C. and I was so out of it I just went to my third period class, and a few other kids showed up. When the teacher didn't I went outside to call my nanny to pick me up and that's the first time I can remember using a cell phone.

what shrapnel wound or did you get hurt pissing yourself?

how ptsd? Cant hear explosions in video games or cant watch people running anymore or what?
>>
>>77327918
>Did anyone you know die?

Several, I lived near a coastal town, and had a few fishing buddies. They all died, as did a friend of a friend. I IDed a few, including one guy and his wife/2 sons because his father (lived pretty far away) wasn't well enough to try and get there himself.

- Bonding

The way that despite things just getting worse and worse, people stayed calm, lined up for food, etc, didn't fight or steal was probably why I didn't evacuate when I could have People just pulled together.

Shrapnel in my lower calves, also dislocated shoulder from falling, and being fall atop of.

Anything to do with blasts, loud noises, or people screaming for a while. I remember watching a Football game and just getting so worked up.

One time during classes some fucking idiot shot a cannon to celebrate Veterans Day and I absolutely lost it. I had to take a leave of absence immediately following that incident. I should've just not come back to begin with.

I left Mass, moved to the Pacific Northwest and am pretty happy here now

Across the highway (house is two houses down from a highway and the tornado followed the highway north hugging the opposite side) there was a fuckton but we just lost a few shingles.

It was a very near miss.
>>
>>77329038
It wasn't scary because I knew my parents were getting out of D.C. and my sister was at school in Maryland. It was more of a numb feeling and a sense of disbelief. I remember being angry for some time because I felt people had manipulated the day to mean more than had happened to us in D.C. (save those at the Pentagon, and those whose friends or family worked there).

Typhoon Ketsana in 2009
this was the beginning of the series of deadly typhoons.

rain that poured in the capital in a few hours was a month's worth. It happened on a Saturday and I thought it was particularly weird that it had been raining for a while and it's not letting up. our house had 2 stories and a basement.

>basement was submerged
no biggie
>water in the kitchen
panic.jpg
>water in my room
It was just me and my dad at home that time and my room was on the first floor.
>had to lift my own mattress
the water was rising fast.
>after successfully bringing the mattress to the second floor, water in my room was up to my shins.
>fuck this shit
lost a lot of clothes and photos and had to throw away a lot of old toys with sentimental value.

it taught me a valuable lesson of never getting too attached to stuff because they can be gone just like that.

water nearly reached our second floor. my aunt was trying to keep her cool, but when i held her, she was shaking because that was the very first time it flooded that high in our area.

Well it wasn't that insane, and that's sort of the point. Everyday joes didn't work in large numbers at WTC or Pentagon and those who died were mostly in the former, and mostly on higher floors aka very fancy employees of banks and wealthy large companies. We had just gone through a big bubble burst after the dotcom boom and a fairly shady election decided by the supreme court and it seemed like everyone manipulated the day's events to serve purposes unrelated.

I have long since made peace with those who did 9/11 personally, and am still angry, however, at those who used the day to foster their globalist agenda, which to some is a front for Israeli interests, which it may be, but to me, it was a way of distracting from an economic crisis (dot com bubble bursting) by creating a war and phony patriotism. It still rings sour.

Were you in the Christchurch quakes?

I was working in Sydenham when the February one hit. Ran home through downtown. Saw some real mess up shit man. Wasn't til I got home I realise I walked past 3 obviously dead people on Colombo St. Found out a day or two later I passed about 25 dead people. My brain wasnt working properly, i didn't even register. I lived in the cbd so my apartment building was evacuated. I didn't want to leave so stayed, not easy to do coz police were arresting people who weren't meant to be downtown. I got by coz i dusted off an old uniform from when i volunteered for an emergency service. Went for 6 weeks without electricity, running water, no toilet.

I dunno if others who have survived a major disaster agree but I'm kinda glad I went through that. Made me realise i m stronger than I ever thought, little problems don't bother me anymore. I feel like I can handle anything life throws at me now.

An ongoing drug war for money and power between muslim familia in the area of Amsterdam. Every now and then, we find shot up muslims or bullet riddled cars with dead muslims in it, but this is the first time a member of a crime family got beheaded and then dumped on the streets. It's always muslims against muslims or niggers.

I was amazed and disgusted at the same time. Had never seen something like that in my life. And its very unusual to find something like this in my area, as its mostly rich and white people living here. I know one woman near had to vomit on the street, becausr of the smell.

Yeah, I had a guy in my WoW guild cracking the fuck up over ventrilo. Not like cracking up in the good way.

He'd served in Iraq and they sent him to Japan to assist with the clean up and retrieval. It's a little known fact that the US Army helped a little with that.

He thought like at first "Yay, no more Iraq!"

Then he started his new job...

It legit fucked him up in the head. Mainly the part where they never explained to Western viewers on the news that when you saw all those cars laying everywhere that most of those were not just lolemptycars. And some poor sons of bitches were going to have to make their way to each and every one of them. Including the school buses. Can't forget about those. I know he won't!

It's not little-known here, the USFJ had record levels of approval after Operation Tomodachi, there were even people making fanart like pic related.

I went to some of the coastal communities a few days after looking for missing people, still had floaters in the streets, and went to the places where the stored the dead too. Lotta people figure you just drown in a tsunami, they don't think it's moving at over 60kph and filled with massive-to-small debris that pummels a person to mush. I could only tentatively ID one friend because his coat had a patch I gave him on it, he didn't even have most of his face/head.

OH SHIT I have a good one that nobody will have ever even heard of. Here's the story:

>freshman in high school
>announcement for everyone to evacuate to either the cafeteria or gym, depending on what room you were in at the time
>nobody knows why
>go to cafeteria
>see assistant principal
>knew this guy since I was 5 years old, coached me in basketball for years
>asked him whats up
>he tells us that there is an air force missile sticking out of the ground just a few feet from a gigantic propane tank
>describes it as "about 6 feet long, fins and a rocket engine on the back, ASAF stenciled on it"
>principal gets on the intercom, says the same thing, he called the air force and read some serial numbers to them and they said they were on their way and to keep everyone away from it and begin evacuation procedure
>everyone is sent home
>see friend on the bus
>friend was in the gym
>snuck outside to smoke weed errday
>saw caravan of air force trucks escorted by MPs and local and state police drive into school lot and around to where the missile is
>we decide to make a bet about who can get on the news
>I call news, tell them I saw the missile fall from the sky
>later the AF retracts the whole think, says that local police, fire department, school staff, were all fooled by a 12 inch model rocket
>ask baskeball coach bro about it the next day
>tells me in an urgent, hushed tone "don't ever ask me about that fucking thing again" and storms away
>I saw fear in his eyes, someone threatened him

I recorded it and uploaded it. Watch the reporter stumble and lie when the anchor asks him about the student (me) who saw it fall from the sky

That's kind of what I'm getting at, we should be the poster child that living in highly irradiated areas is fairly harmless.

The rate of cancer here is pretty insane though.

There was also an engineer who worked out at the plant who almost Tokaimura'd himself and was the only person ever to use our hospital's super advanced radiation surgery ward. He's a family friend and constantly has the shakes.

There's also a for real vault in the mountains for top engineers and their families to live in if shit hits the fan.

Economically I don't think you can relocate an entire cbd to a different area. And people that were calling for it the loudest had agendas, 'of course the cbd needs to be built somewhere else, for instance here's my big plot of land in Rolleston. I'll sell it to you for millions'.

I'm fine that its being rebuilt in the original spot. This is NZ after all, the Alpine fault is due to go anytime in the next 250 years and when that happens half the South Island is predicted to rise upwards of 20 metres and a massive death toll. Besides all commercial buildings going up in Christchurch is stronger than anything you'll see outside of Japan. I feel safer in Christchurch than walking around Wellington with all its highrises built in the 1970s with their shitty codes.

You uh, haven't been here recently have you? They have rebuilt fuck all, it's still mostly vacant lots and abandoned buildings. Out of offices that have been built they have something like a 50% vacancy rate because no one wants to put their fucking business there.

All the businesses and housing and shit are moving out to rolleston and the like. Anyone with a brain knows that building in the Cbd is throwing money away.

Don't bother. The air force has a storied reputation for an uncanny ability to clamp a lid on things.

Ironically I think it was in 1998 when the US finally declassified that during WWII a Japanese balloon bomb landed and killed a teacher and her students.

Can you imagine something like that? An entire crime scene. Victims, grieving families. And through the power of wartime censorship it didn't happen until the military finally said it did.

Fifty three years later.

Pic related. The monument that was finally put up.

Muslims here are pretty "liberated" when it comes to that. They're in it for the money, since a lot of them drive in expensive BMWs and landrovers and claim they got rich by opening and running kebab businesses kek. Cocaine is their favorite business drug. Heroin is more in control of the Dutch or Slav mafia.

My view changed little besides that I already believe they're dangerous and insane. As long as you dont meddle in their lives you're off the hook.

Its not so much as poop youre smelling. Imagine smelling rotten meat left on the kitchen counter, combined with dried blood and festering bacteria, then you get a good idea of what it smelled like. It seems that the head was already decomposing when I saw it.

Morrocans = cocaine and party drugs delivery on scooter or in car
Dutch people = sell from home or from car, mostly party drugs and speed, sometimes cocaine
Surinamese blacks = mostly cook crack
Eastern euros/balkan etc = heroin and growing weed
Turks = dont really dabble in drugs
Antillians (carribean blacks) = smuggle coke through swallowing packets by plane, small time dealing and ripdeals (shooting other gangs and taking their shit)

I think this is a fairly accurate representation of who deals with what drugs in north/south holland.
>>
2007 in Davao City I heard two shots and then four guys carrying rifles that resembled M16A1s and M16A2s got out of the alley where I heard the shots get on two motorcycles and fly off. It was a hitsquad that took out a drug dealer. Duterte was mayor of Davao at the time, so if you think he was bluffing about hiring hitmen to kill drug dealers, he isn't. I've seen it with my own eyes.

I've always wondered what happened first: A plane landed at another base that was missing a missile, or the missile was spotted and reported. Imagine being an air force guy and having to call your boss and let him know a plane just landed with less missiles than it took off with, and all you know is that it fell off somewhere between st louis and california. I also wonder how common it is for the AF to lose dangerous shit like that over the continental US, like was the president briefed that day that a missile was missing or is that just an every day.

The spookiest part was the basketball coach / assistant principal's response the next day. I can just imagine some man in black telling him "If you ever talk of this we'll just make you a pedophile and ruin your life, then you will be suicided. Or you can keep your career, family, happiness, etc and just pretend this never happened."

3 friends I used to work with were going to go see batman the night it was shot up in Aurora but they got too drunk and missed the showtime which was lucky. One of those friend's buddy still went and got shot and wounded, but I never knew or even met that guy.

Heat from the second plane rattled my wall of windows and seared my face.

I had to keep the windows in my apt shut for the next 2 months because the wind would carry the smell of burning rubble and death into my apt every time it shifted in my direction.

Watched president's helicopter fly by my window when he came to make his speech.

Watched jets circle my apt for a week or 2 after the attack.

I basically watched everything on a TV and then looked out my window and saw it happening at the same time.

i live on the south side of Chicago, everyday is a happening. there's sirens outside right now and it's not even 5 am yet, i wouldn't even notice the noise if it weren't for this thread
>>
I live in an 85% Black town. It's happening all the time. Every year some niglet pulls a gun at the local high school. Gang crimes happen all the time. A police siren is a lullaby to me at this point. Have had our houses and cars broken into, just last week two nigger children stole my dads work truck and totaled it, they almost got away with it.

The worst happening I've been in was an 'active school shooter' situation, niglet wanting to be a gang member got a hold of a gun and was shooting it into the ceiling.

Not to mention I live in Tornado Alley, so if a tornado does every decimate this city, it will be very close to Hurricane Kristina level shit.

There was also the time a nigger was breaking into my house and managed to break the storm window first. I was screaming and he was still trying to get in. Dad actually had to come into the room and point a gun at the window to keep the chimp from continuing.

Anywhere I go I feel like I'm going to get killed. Cousin got stabbed in the arm at Walmart. Can't say I've been in any uprooting, body dropping happenings, but I know I have to leave this town before one does come along.

Took part in the 89' Romanian Revolution, I was 15 at that time.

I remember how I went with my grandpa at the National Convention that took part in the middle of Bucharest (the convention was called upon by our dictator, Ceausescu, after the revolution started in another city - Timisoara).

There were more than 1 million people on the streets, the situation was all tense as most of them didn't know what was happening. At some point, there was a mass rumble in a far side of the protestors and everything went to shit.

Everybody started calling out at Ceausescu, we witnessed him flying out of Bucharest with his helicopter, everybody was happy that the commies were gone ... until the nightfall came through. When it did, the bullets started flying everywhere, there was mass-disorientation between the army and the police, they were shooting civilians and state employees and calling them terrorists ...

I was on the barricades at Universitate (point 0 in Bucharest, right in the centre). The army started shooting on us like mad, they brought TAB's that ran over people, tanks were spotted trying to aim at buildings and such.

It was fucking mad and I still have the occasional nightmare about it. It was the first time I actually felt helpless, it was the first time I've witnessed someone dying right in front of me (ricochet of a bullet) and so much more.

Out of all the revolutions that happened back in '89, the Romanian one was the most violent ... and after the so called revolution, that was actually a coup d'etat, the second echelon of commies came to power, shitting on all the people that fought for liberty.

Such is life in eastern europe

if you call more than 1000 people getting killed by the army over a few nights a small thing, then that's your opinion.

Seeing young kids with bullet holes in them, women dead on the ground, the army actively trying to shoot everyone under direct orders from the commies ... it really messes with your brain. It didn't fucking help that after a few days, the army decided to back the civilians instead of the commie government, yet the shootings never stopped. There were loyalist Securitate agents (commie NKVD) that still tried to fucking kill everyone, even thought Ceausescu was long gone.

One of the worst things that happened during those days was the fact that our Minister of War was an active KGB agent. Our Anti-Terror Unit caught wind of his activities, tried to arrest him, only for them to be sent on a mission to protect the Government - after they reached the Government, all the army units there were ordered by the KGB shill to attack the Anti-Terror Unit, killing all of them.

What's sick is that they displayed their bodies over there, telling the people that they were terrorists that tried to take over the Government. Most of the people started pissing on the bodies and playing with the heads of those poor soldiers that only tried to serve their countries.

Pic related, it's the USLA Anti-Terrorist Unit

>reach the UK
>mfw I moved out of the UK 4 years ago, because I couldn't stand living in London for another fucking day.

Your country is beautiful, but hell London should be nuked out of existence as soon as possible. You're calling us gippos and such, but you can't even take a stroll anywhere in London after 10 at night, or you risk getting shanked by niggers, chavs and pakis.

Thank you but no thank you.
