Hey /pol/ allow me to show you how you can legally manufacturer an untraceable, unserialized AR-15 in your very home without any gunsmithing experience.

To create your AR you will need the following items.

>AR Jig

http://www.80percentarms.com/products/80-ar-15-easy-jig

>Tool Kit

http://www.80percentarms.com/collections/lower-jigs/products/easy-jig-tool-kit

>80% Completed AR receiver

http://80percentarms.com/products/80-lower-receiver-type-iii-hard-anodized-billet-ar-15

>Router

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0048EFUV8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1464734033&sr=8-3π=SY200_QL40&keywords=router+dewalt&dpPl=1&dpID=41MSATBmFfL&ref=plSrch

>Hand Drill

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0011XSEW6/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1464734122&sr=8-2π=SY200_QL40&keywords=dewalt+drill+cord&dpPl=1&dpID=41Qg0pUZJfL&ref=plSrch

>Lube or coolant for the drill bits

>A vise to hold the jig

After you have acquired all the pieces, watch this instructional video to help guide you in finishing your lower.

https://youtu.be/SiHdV5slQps

CONGRATULATIONS

You now have an untraceable firearm that's totally LEGAL*! Take pride in knowing you've manufactured a gun in your very home.

But we're not done yet, the fun has just begun. Now you can assemble your rifle however you'd like!

This is a good starter kit

This is a muzzle brake.

Nigger your time would be spent MUCH more efficiently making an AK. They are much simpler weapons with almost equivalent performance. They are normally made from stamped metal.

If you are building from scratch sure.

With 80% lowers available and all the other parts for an AR being unregulated it is harder to build an AK in the US

You're sweet untraceable AR is 10 years min in federal prison. Even if you make it, you need to register it with the ATF

For only $99.99 your average Joe can buy this special stock that basically turns your AR15 into a machine gun*!!!

*Not really a machine gun, but it exploits a loop hope that practically turns it into one. Totally legal.

Yeah that's plain wrong

Looks like the rivet was put there by the manufacturer to stop cartridges from moving past the rivet, thus limiting the capacity to 10 rounds. Remove the rivet, and you will be able to push more cartridges into the magazine.

Let me tell you - unless you've got some pretty good welding experience and a fuckload of expensive tools, it's absolutely, definitely not.

It involves buying a receiver blank, bending/welding it into shape, then you either weld, screw, or rivet it to all the other parts. The chances of fucking up are about 75-90% unless you really know what you're doing. If you fuck it up, it'll either not work or the sights will be so off you'll never be able to correct for it.

>>
sure you can make your own guns but how safe they really? how do you even know it won't shit the bed?
>>
>>77306643
No.

an AR you can put together in your living room like it was made of legos. You need a lot of machinery to make an AK. But once you have that machinery, it doesn't cost much to pump them out.
>>
>>77306064
Guides?
>>
>>77307576
If all the small trigger components fit snuggly in your completed lower, the lower is more than likely safe to use.

Worst case scenario is that you make the gun full auto by accident.

Zero chance of making the gun explode.

Depends on the AK
An original 47 will probably get BTFO by a modern AR15

However the newer AKs are really down to preference

Let's put both of them aside for a moment why not build a real /pol/ tier assault rifle and far better gun than either of them: an STG-44

i have one. I does affect accuracy but it still isn't too bad. Its not hard to put 30 rounds into a man sized target at 40 yrds. At 20 yrds you can put all 30 into a one gallon milk jug. Obviously for longer, more accurate shooting, they are shit.

The lower receiver isn't really the "guts" of the AR. The upper receiver is where problems are going to occur 95% of the time. You can buy a completed upper built properly by a gun company, then attach that to your completed lower. Pic related, headspacing is the most important part of building an upper.

The point of 80% lowers is to circumvent the need to serialize the weapon, so you don't need to go through a background check, leaving no trace of a serial number + your name on any government records.

People have built their own CNC machines so I'd imagine it would still be possible even if all of the specific AR tools OP posted were to be banned.
There are also machine shops that will build anything you want if you give them your autocad designs.

I've had headspacing problems in one of my builds before. I ordered a bolt and barrel separate, but from the same company (not headspaced together) and had lots of failures to extract. I sent the barrel and bolt back and they swapped out the bolt for one that headspaced properly in my barrel. No more jams, runs perfect now. It's rare, but really shitty and possibly dangerous when it happens. Pic related, a sign of headspacing issues from the brass smacking into the ejector.

I think it would be easier for a noob to just slap a completed upper onto his finished 80% and call it a day.
