If you're a poorfag, stockpile for trading post-collapse:
-toilet paper for a couple hundred bucks
-tampons for women
-luxury brand foreign alcohol
-luxury brand coffee
-luxury brand foreign chocolate/cigarettes/cigars
You'll be able to turn a 1000% profit trading those things on the black market, easily. You can turn an investment of a couple hundred bucks into a couple thousand bucks worth of stuff that way, which should get you through the rough stretches.
If you want to feel like a jew, throw in some baby food and take advantage of desperate mothers, and some basic life-saving medication like insulin etc.
I highly suggest at least 2 months worth of bottled water/canned food, use this to SUPPLEMENT whatever diet you can scrounge up daily. A real crisis will last years, not months.
If you dont have these options, your only real option is to team up with 1-2 competent anons and go around robbing people.

I am starting to get prepared. I am from Orlando but going to college in Michigan. I decided to take a year off school to move back in with my parents in Orlando. It's quite a large house /property and it would be so much better for me to be there than in my shitty college town apartment in the event that a large scale happening occurs. My dad and I have plans to pick up concealed carry permits, a carry gun for us both, and an AK47 for the house. On our property we also have a really big vegetable garden where we can grow a lot of food (my mom is a nutritionist and health person so she does that). We also have two dogs (black lab and German shepherd) which are highly trained and protect our property. Large fence around the perimeter of the property. All my neighbors are rednecks who are racist and own guns, they will be good allies. I also have an internship with a PI agency, so if I end up staying for for 2 years I will be able to get a full license which is pretty cool. Am I making a mistake moving back home? Just seems way smarter from a survival perspective rather than being totally unarmed, with little food in a college town up north.
