REMINDER FOR THE 24TH:
Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall.

>because Germany and France run the EU

France is only with Germany because Hollande is a cuck. Le Pen is gaining.

And you know, a lot of German regions are starting to go against the status quo. Germany isn't exactly undivided on the issue.

Plus a lot of those in the second list may be irrelevant, but together it's a different picture.

They've already had a lot of victories and that's without being a significant economic power.

Hell, you're claiming Brexit can have a snowball effect, so surely Britain going head to head against the status quo will have the exact same effect?

Yes, France is in a worse collapse than Greece right now. But since the French are, well, a lot and since they are always united against outsiders, they unfortunately represent a factor in the EU. If Germany was alone, it would never stand, but because it has France on a leash, it's free to wreak the havoc it is doing right now.

Once France either collapses completely or Le Pen stops the cucking (at the cost of them collapsing still, but who gives a fuck about some Frenchies), you've got Germany standing practically alone.

>British MEPs

The parliament means jack shit dude. The ONLY thing that matters is the council and that's your government.

My point is that it's the wrong direction. I've always said leaving is a valid choice, as long as you've exhausted the options. But when has Britain ever said a single thing about a new treaty? It just went to "fuck it, we're done" as soon as things got really bad.

Sure, maybe some tiny dudes like Greece should leave, because they can't do anything, but Britain is Britain. It has the economic power, the clout. I know as a single person you feel powerless and the only thing you can do is at least vote to leave, but it just seems to me like you're playing into the hands of other people corrupt over power and money.

Let me explain what I mean. You've rallied behind a few leaders who want you to leave the EU. Tell me, did they ever say anything about fighting for a new treaty? Or if the vote gets close but you still remain, demanding a new treaty from Cameron? Because surely if those people want things to actually better they'll be fighting to leave or at least try to use the referendum to change things?

All I read is them pushing for the leave.

It just seems like an ill-advised move to me.

Jean-Claude Juncker was the prime minister of a country with 3k euros MINIMUM salary, fed by millions of corporations. This man, who has no grasp of reality, helped the creation, the worst idea in the history of politic - the eurozone. He oversaw the disastrous policies during the crisis.

Heads up for not getting too optimistic:

YouGov say that part of the reason why all the polling agencies fucked up in the May GE was because people's true voting intentions were revealed in how they answered the question of who will best look after the economy.
People like saying they'll vote for soft-hearted faggots like Labour or Libdems, but when the day came, they wanted Gideon in charge of the nation's treasures.

This is important because people generally think the Bremain is the less risky option for the economy.
So don't expect the final result to be as good for Leave as the polls suggest. We might be seeing people engage in a playful flirting with the attractive sentiments of proud nationalism, but that might disappear on voting day when concern for the economy heightens.

More reason why Leave can only be confident of victory if they have a rock solid 5pt lead or so in the polls.

There would certainly be an interim period of uncertainty regarding our economy and trade.

However, if countries such as Iceland can be a successful independent nation so can we.

All this shit about not being able to trade and move throughout Europe is bollocks, there were bi-lateral agreements in place with these countries before the EU, and there will be agreements made once we leave

Surely this will be weighted in their polling now then?
Polling companies cannot afford another fuck-up after the GE.
>>
>>77246446
The YouGov interactive thing has age skew and class skew built into it.
I.e. if they are set a 0, they represent the age skew from YouGovs polling. That is why in the picture more old people are voting and more upper class people are voting, as seen in the bars.

I'd believe this, if the economy was the main thing happening right now.

When the economy was the main thing that Remain was talking about, the polls were with them. But they tried that way too soon and it backfired.

Now everyone's talking about immigration, immigrants and the like, and oftentimes voters will go for anti-immigrant rhetoric above ALL else.

So keeping in mind 'the economy, stupid', there are more nuances to this.

YouGov weigh their polls to accurately represent the demographics of the nation and what they currently say is their voting intention, NOT to predict what the final vote will be.

>In comments made to the media on 13 May, Mr Haber, who is from Germany, said: "We have a saying 'Start like a Turk and end like a German. But here it is the other way round'."
>His words were seen as deeply derogatory in Turkey, where ambassadors are not expected to disrespect Turkish culture.
>On Tuesday, Turkey's EU Minister Omer Celik accused Mr Haber of breaching basic rules of diplomacy by not honouring Turkey's values and its president.
>"There are two rules any diplomat should know," Mr Celik told Turkish television while on a visit to Bratislava.
>"First is respect for a country's values, and second is respect for that country's president. The ambassador violated these basic rules."
>Turkish media reported that the row upset EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, who reportedly put pressure on Mr Haber to resign.
>EU officials say he will leave his post on 1 August and a successor will be announced soon.
>Turkey's efforts to secure up to €6bn (£4.8bn; $6.8bn) and visa-free travel for its citizens is being held up because EU officials say the government has not met all the demands made by Brussels.
Not surprising that the EU would silence anyone who isn't praising the Middle East and Islam.

Because the British have been deeply uncomfortable with the EU since its inception. When we joined we were told it was all about trade. Now it's one step away from a fully fledged federal state. The reason Britain keeps getting special privileges in the EU is because the British people never wanted this to begin with.

Easily enough time.

Immigration is a fine line, anyway. You can easily end up sounding like the BNP, and the media will get you for it.
On the other end of the spectrum, you can also end up sounding like a fucking retard, like Eddie Izzard did on QT, and people will be against that, too.

Immigration has to be framed in a moderate way: we merely want control of the borders, as is acceptable for any independent nation.

You've also got to remember that LOADS of people hardly even have a problem with specifically European immigration. The thought of white people coming here en masse doesn't scare many Tory voters.

So I don't think focussing too much on immigration is that wise. It should be put short and sweetly: We want to control who comes here.

It's not like we can shift 10+ of the electorate either way of the debate anyway. Referendums like this aren't decided in 10 days before the vote, they are decided months and years before. And frankly, there are few ways Remain can turn this around, and every hour they become fewer.

I know all of that mate, but you're also missing something - very few people want what the EU is right now. There is a genuine drive towards brining it back to its roots, a single fucking market. And a leave is just dropping all that and going for the easy way.

Listen, I lived in Britain for 3 years. I know you people are selfish, stuck-up and often quite childish. But I also know Britains are great to work with because they like to simply get the job done, they will often make very solid, logical decisions at the end (no matter what happens) and there is a very good, established idea of Britain. Brits have lots of positive qualities and right now, in the weak state that Europe is in, they have power. I know it's a stupid dream, but I was kinda hoping the debate would turn towards a new treaty. This thing between a "leave" and "remain" to me just seems like the exact same problem you have with the EU - it just doesn't reflect the interest of the voters.

I mean, you talk about all this lack of democracy. So why are you being offered only "possibly get fucked massively" or "get fucked slowly"? Why is no one offering "fight to not get fucked"?? Where's the "fuck the referendum, fight for our rights within the EU" camp? Fine, it might not be a popular camp, but why doesn't it exist? Why do you have these figures who are campaigning only for things that outright benefit them and are questionable for you?

As for the people and them thinking leave is the best choice, to me that doesn't seem brave and strong, a former empire getting back to its roots. It just seems like a chickenshit move to escape big bad Germany because it's bullying you.

It's literally moving schools to escape from a bully.

Just my two cents, I'm not convincing you of anything, I'm just expressing my view over the WHOLE debate.

Mate, the MEPs do nothing. Parliament does nothing.

Believe me. Parliament is an empty institution that has the function of sometimes stopping the Council and Commission from passing legislation against the will of the people and also the function of sometimes passing legislation against the will of the people.

The shitty ministers problem is what makes a difference. So if they're shitting themselves at an EU level, what's to change with brexit, when they shit themselves equally on a British level? I mean, if they fail to fix immigration EU-wide, why will they succeed in fixing immigration post-Brexit?

Basically we got offered a trade deal, it seemed like a good idea at the time because we were in a high tariff period and this would have lowered some with neighbouring countries. It was a trade deal, nothing else.

Well after our membership it suddenly got changed into a political union and we've been shackled to it ever since.

Look at this lads. For an organisation supposedly concerned about muh climate change.

Also exemplifies how utterly unreformable the EU is.

I love this argument.

"We need to be in the EU so that they can override any potential future UK governments I don't like."
Such a bad argument to make.

I would like to see someone ask a politician for the Remain campaign to explain how the EU works. There are 7 institutions, principle decision making bodies, and over 40 agencies for accomplishing specific tasks, and good god, you'd need to be autistic to understand it all. Which, to be honest, explains why it's run by Germans.

Christ you're shilling hard.

Brexit simply isn't a choice between "possibly get fucked massively" or "get fucked slowly" and remaining is very likely to be a case of "attempt to regain control and fail while getting fucked massively".

You either forget or are avoiding the fact that for decades Britain has tried to mould the EU from the inside and it has each time been told to fuck off and accept how things are. The big players in the EU have repeated told us that principles like freedom of movement are non-negotiable and that wont change. Leaving on the other hand has few risks and GUARANTEES that we control our affairs. Fuck the EU, we've tried for decades and given it enough chances. Now I just want out of it's undemocratic, expansionist and freedom constricting clutches.
