m9 im telling you this with the best intentions but you guys have to begin to accept that reserves are fucking killing your young people. There's many studies that show that aboriginal reserves are extremely detrimental to people living in them while knowing that the rest of the country is living hundreds of years advanced, this is exponentially worse for your youth.
You can't keep holding on to the notion of "muh residential schools" because most of the kids in reserves killing themselves and drinking their problems away weren't even alive when those programs were still in effect. If you continue this rhetoric you're no better than blacks that complain about slavery as a means to justify their shitty decisions.

I'm an American from Montana and I've got a few Cree friends I fish with in Saskatchewan . In my opinion they're pretty based. Same goes for the Blackfoot that live down the road on the reservation. My best friend growing up was a Blackfoot indian and some of my best memories were hunting with him and his grandfather. But I can only vouch for the ones I know I can't speak for the Canucks.
