Why is /pol/ nazi and reddit sjw?
The main difference is that reddit has upvotes. Therefore the comments that agree most with the social norms are rewarded. On /pol/ the equivalent of "upvotes" are "(you)'s", which is basically the number of replies you get. So therefore comments are rewarded which are the most shocking, morally reprehensible, counter to all social norms. Politically incorrect threads are bumped, PC threads die off.
In addition, /pol/ allows free speech, Reddit does not
And that's how /pol/ became fascist Hitler lovers. It's gotten to such an extent that now the only threads that survive are the PC bait threads that run contrary to the /pol/ narrative
The right used to be the source of cultural puritanism.
Now the left is the source of cultural puritanism, which has made right wing thinking "edgy" and countercultural.
