That was it for me. Bankruptcy is what you do when your business goes tits up. It happens. It WILL happen. If you are a business man you will at some point file bankruptcy.
The funny thing is common peasants think this means an end to your life as you know it. Shame and financial ruin follow. This is false.
Any businessman worth his salt files for a LLC which is a $1,000 write up that creates a corporation. The reason you do this is because you then file all assets and debt the company generates UNDER the LLC. Not your own name. BigDragonCocks LLC may be your business but it isn't directly tied to your name.
Why do people do this? It makes tax evasion a breeze AND because if the business does fail. All anyone can take is what the LLC listed. The company isn't tied to the owner. So if I end up owing far more then my assess can pay off, they cannot come for my home or personal accounts.
This and many other financial loop holes are why the rich are rich and you are not. Having filed bankruptcy isn't a mark of shame. It is a mark of having the prowess to sink debt into a disposable company while moving forwards.
