Apple's next big launch is an autonomous home robotics platform. Wheeled.
The robot will be autonomous, recharge itself, and be open to the apple ecosystem of services and app developers.
It will "wag" it's body when you come. Automatically approach and offer a recharging usb connection if your mobile apple device is low on energy. It will play games with children etc.
It will also allow the owner to remote into the device to look around the house or check in on the kids.
It's coming 2016 before christmas.
A lot of the people they hired for the "apple car" are actually working on this product.
