Generally all those westside neighborhoods like Malibu or Bel-Air are fairly equal in price. A lot of the really expensive parts of LA are actually independent cities because they don't want to pay taxes to the poorer parts. LA has gotten REALLY expensive lately, but the most expensive part in LA proper might now be Downtown LA where the rent for 1 bedroom is like 2500 a month now
