what will military combat look like in future wars?
Kids sitting on computers throwing denk mems at each other. First one that has to empty out their piss bottle loses.

imagine two air crafts that can fly like butterflies that can turn and maneuver dozens of times a second. But with a robot brain shooting lasers at each other.

pic very much related
Major nations will have no way to actually physically destroy one another's infrastructure/government or kill each other's citizens/soldiers after defense technology becomes advanced enough so war will become political power-shifting done through sabotage/infiltration/espionage and l337 hacking with little to no actual physical combat. The military will become a group full of network professionals and the state will begin funding hardcore emotion/personality research (Dune level shit) in order to train good social influencers to use against whichever enemy.
Physical war as we know it will make way for information war, it will be more subtle and socially-oriented. Citizens will not sacrifice their lives for their nations anymore so nationalism is sure to suffer, and without a outlet for violence/aggression/conquest, masculinity will suffer as well.
Over time, with no perceivable threat of actual, physical violence, the powerful nations will reduce their defenses enough for the underdeveloped nations for some crazy-enough nation to launch bombs and reinstate physical violence, and this pattern will surge over time until a world government is established. War will still exist in the form of espionage/information-oriented civil wars and terrorism, but we'll also finally be conquesting into space.
Either that or we'll nuke each other into the stone age before any of that happens, but either way, the days of throwing masses of infantry at one another are over.

If 2 major nations declare war on each other its game over.
Most likely it will be a bunch of proxy wars in third world countries.
We will transcend our physical bodies and do battle in the aastral plane.

The progression of weapons of war will progress to the point where no party can directly attack the other without being mutually destroyed by his opponent. We have already reached this point where the world's most powerful nations cannot directly wage war against each other.
So the wars of the future will be thought over the minds of the people without ever firing a shot. The battles have already begun. JIDF media kikery vs /pol/ meme magic. The kikes had a huge head start, but meme magic has advanced at a dizzying rate within the past year.

The same as they do now, only without human pilots.
Instead of us grunts on the ground almost getting blown away by aircraft because of poor identification on behalf of the pilot we will instead just get blown away because some nerd in an air conditioned trailer somewhere couldn't tell who we were on his fuzzy ass screen and got told to press the fuck you button anyway.

This. Memetics might even supersede Religions

It won't look like that piece of shit glitch of a game ArmA 3
>>76792751
Arma 3 is literally the best depiction of modern combat out right now. There is a reason it is a SIMULATOR and not a gmae. They had access to military prototype technology when they were developing the game, so they could accurately transfer that kind of data to their game. I honestly dont understand why they even made ARMA a consumer thing and not just a military training program.

Religion is just memetics unaware of its own nature.
