If you look at the uni's here in Canada they're all like 60%+ asian, so of course a ton of them are going to get a degree here, it doesn't mean they're doing well though. A huge number of them kill themselves, many do constant withdrawals and retaking courses at the slightest hint of failure because our government and their parents will foot the bill for them to retake calculus 20 times so they can get their A+, there's also the bias that only the rich chinese ever make it and they have huge income disparities as well so nobody in the west has really been exposed to the true chinese population.
