Actually they do. And the only way to change the EU is to be in it. Leaving it will only mean Britain has no say and no control over decisions they make, but will still have to pay up to get the same benefits the EU countries get in terms of trade. They will also have to allow free movement of people.

There is literally no upside to leaving. None at all.

Yes, I am implying all of the above. It's well documented and 99% of experts agree.

If this vote was only made by those who have completed higher education, it wouldn't even be close.

It's a pity we have to give brain-dead, racist working class mongs a vote. Dumb people outnumber the intelligent people, which is why this is so close.

The REAL problem is having a vote in the first place. Cameron and the Tory party fucked up massively. They put their party before the country and now we have to have a stupid vote. Should never be a referendum in the first place.

None of that is supported by current evidence or guaranteed in the future any more than leaving solving all our problems can be. Just admit it's a safety vote because you're a bunch of dickless cowards who are afraid of hard work.

Remain keeps speaking as though they're on the side of the working class despite the working class being the largest leave demographic. They patronise them by suggesting they can't possibly know what's good for themselves because they're simpletons, I wouldn't be surprised if it harms them.

>Is it just because we are more attractive?
kek, probably not because of that but here are some facts to answer your questions, and those you might have.

1. poland is poor because of getting btfo in ww2 and communism
2. poland is constantly getting better
3. however poland is currently slowing down because of the actions of the current RIGHT WING party.
4. poland would be wayy richer if more open and tolerant, but don't worry we are getting there. its only a matter of time.

I mean noticed that all of the rich countries are literally the opposite of what /pol/ thinks is the right course of action?

>Freedom
Lmao.
You're acting like the EU are some evil overlords controlling everything and oppressing our people.

Britain happily and voluntarily is part of the EU. If our Government didn't like it, they could quit at any time they like. Scotland said that if they got independence they would definitely join the EU. One of the major issues which swayed the vote to a no on independence was the worry that Scotland wouldn't be able to get EU membership.

Countries are practically begging to get in, there are huge benefits to it you fucking pleb. Freedom is being able to join organisations like this and flourish like we have been.

>m-m-muh 300 million a week
We earn more every week from trading as part of the EU, something we would not be able to do without it. We would be poorer. We would have less jobs. We would have a shitter overall country.

The EU is a Godsend. It's not perfect but the way to improve something is not to quit. If your £100,000 car has a flat tire you don't just quit and throw the car away, you just work to fix the issue that is troubling you.

I can't believe how lacking in common sense some of you are. Did you even watch the debate last night? It wasn't even close.

Why wouldn't we be able to trade out of the EU? Most of what we import from the EU could be imported from elsewhere without restriction once we left. Our fishing industry would no longer be crippled. Nor would our steel. We WOULD make trade agreement within as well as without the EU. No country is going to damage their own economy out of spite, especially when they are part of a failing currency.

We originally voted to be part of the EU as a trade deal, and it evolved into what it is today without the consent of the British people, and without any vote by the British people mattering as to its progression (because it is immune to British democracy).
>If our Government didn't like it, they could quit at any time they like
OBVIOUSLY our government likes it, that's why the vast majority of them are coming out as remainers. Have you considered asking yourself WHY this might be instead of just taking people's opinions as your own for no reason?
The EU is a corrupt politicians wet dream. Vast sections of it are undemocratically appointed. They are surrounded by lobbyists (which is why big businesses and banks also like it) and have ZERO political accountability.

The EU forces UK fishing areas to be "shared waters", which means we're only entitled to fish in about 20% of our own water.
Roughly 100k fishing jobs have been lost since joining the EU because of this, and our fish market towns are all but gone.

Business finds a way. Buyers meet sellers and trade happens. Governments cant stop it, governments cant even make it happen, no more than they can change the weather.

We always have traded with Europe, fuck, we continued to trade with Germany to some extent even DURING WW2. We also do not require a trade agreement to trade, it actually benefits us in some way as a small country to have no trade agreements at all with anyone. Clue: EU prices are higher than world prices. This is why you can often buy things cheaper from the US or China in the UK...even though you get fucked on postage and import duty.... the EU prices are that much inflated.

The EU pays out fishermen to burn their boats so they have nothing to pass along to their sons and the British fishing industry can drop dead faster (which it has).

Bit like paying farmers to scrap their ploughs.

Yes goy, destroy your only means of self sufficiency and buy all your stuff from abroad! You know it makes sense.
>>
>>76732620
>Britain happily and voluntarily is part of the EU. If our Government didn't like it, they could quit at any time they like. Scotland said that if they got independence they would definitely join the EU. One of the major issues which swayed the vote to a no on independence was the worry that Scotland wouldn't be able to get EU membership.

Holy shit. Are you aware there's currently a referendum going on?
>>
>>76733390

We have been trying to "fix the EU" since we joined. It doesnt want to be "fixed", it is headed on a different mission than I wish to head on. I wish them good luck, but I do not like their destination or the driver of the bus.

EU sets a quota on how much Fish can be fished in the North Sea (and elsewhere but the North Sea is the most effected), this is split between us and everyone else in Europe so we only get a small proportion (something like a fifth) of the fish from the fishing grounds in our own waters. Meanwhile Norway ignores this completely and hence gets all of the fish from its national waters. The net result is that Norway still has an actually functioning fishing industry and we have half a dozen rowing boats in hull.
>>
>>76733486
You missed the major point about fishing, besides the absurdity of quotas.

Our waters are now free for any other European country to fish - and it's true that we can also fish their waters, but who cares, our waters have some of the richest fish stocks in the world.

So after that decision was taken (Factortame), giant Spanish industrial trawlers came over and put the countless small British fishermen out of business.

I'd also take away the vote of anyone who has a criminal conviction for anything race-related or anything to do with discrimination and anyone who is a supporter of the BNP (just like with the police force). I'd extend it to UKIP members too.

I'd also take away the votes of anyone who hasn't completed a reasonable standard of high school education, they are not of sound mind and cannot make decisions for themselves.

How many voters would the leave campaign be left with then I wonder?

The stated position was that our waters, unlike Norway's, are shared between the entirety of the EU, and so we only get a small amount of the quota from our waters. A video saying Norway's fishing industry is successful because they competently managed their waters and negotiated with Russia in the waters they shared with them doesn't really dispute that. If anything it's a model of what could be possible if we made our own rules, and even though that would require competence from Westminster to come to pass, but whatever shit they put for tonnage it is unlikely to be worse than "everyone in the EU can fish here provided they don't exceed X-tons (and X is still too high so it's more like the Canada situation there anyway) combined so your share in particular is more like X/5"

You're straight up lying now we're net contributors, that's a fact. And how exactly is that diagram wrong?

We already have influence and democracy, we elected the people who make the decisions.

And they should be making the decision to stay in the EU by themselves, not risk letting a leave vote happen. It's irresponsible and frankly stupid. You know there's something wrong when the Government that are ALLOWING us to vote on the matter sends a document in the post urging you to vote to stay....

I don't think you understand. When Tesco gets cheaper products from France and sells them to the UK market for more reasonable prices. WE WIN.

Tesco gets richer.
Tesco employs more people.
Tesco can afford to pay their employees more.
The public get access to more products which they enjoy.
The public are charged less for these products meaning they are richer.

This is worth more than what we contribute. A LOT MORE. Fucking billions more.

>b-b-but we can still trade
>it's still possible
>we'll j-just find a way
>okay we'll still have to pay fees, and have free movement of people b-b-b-but we can still do it!! honest!!!

>how is this diagram which was made by a /pol/tard and is based on 0 evidence wrong
