I liked Funny Face man several years ago. I'm still not sure if the show declined in quality or I got more conservative, or maybe both.

It's really fucking hard finding anyone who isn't just concerned with in-jokes and patting themselves on the back for their opinions.

Jon Stewart is a myopic asshole who held "it's just comedy" as a shield when he was preaching every night. He liked to give an illusion of fairness by sometimes attacking the left, but all his positions were slanted heavily.
Having the appearance of "I'm not with any party" while shilling for one, while lightly reprimanding the other, makes you an insidious figure.

It shows that you're a JonStew watcher, since you're namedropping someone who hasn't been relevant to the right in decades.
JonStew had his little crusade against talk radio going from another era, because he was old.
If you really want to challenge yourself, listen to someone like Dan Carlin, who at least tries to pry open the curtain of political jargon and bullshittery. You're being lied to by all sides and you're nothing more than a pawn. If you want to get serious about politics it's time to abandon the idea that any party will represent your viewpoints.

This. I don't like his shitty comedy, but he's intellectually honest and admits he was wrong readily. He's the old school smart liberal I admire, not the blue hair lunatics nowadays.
