Russia is a huge global nuclear power, even while bombing ISIS their top intelligence priorities are the nuclear powers of N America, Europe, and E Asia. Most of their photo analysis guys would be tasked with other assignments at any given time, and the ones assigned to ISIS are probably overwhelmed processing military reconnaissance imagery on a strict schedule.
It is not totally implausible that the sudden influx of intel from the effort of a few dozen anons would be useful. Analytical techs are typically overworked and understaffed in most organizations, I can't imagine Russian military bureaucracies would be any better.
