If you haven't noticed, this board is huge. Many of you already knew that, but did you know how large our influence actually is? We have over a million Americans visiting this board on any given day. We also have many millions of people all around the world.

We are currently in a historic moment in American politics. If Trump fails, it is effectively decades of bureaucratic liberalism, of globalism, and nationalist politics may never recover.

Through /pol/, we have a very popular underground channel that begins from the bottom of the internet and slowly bubbles to the top. Our content is cycled and propagated without most people even knowing where it originates. Unlike most media, we actually create content. The best part is, few in the media have picked up on it. We have the ability to influence the narrative, the content that is trending, and what is made visible even if we only organize a FRACTION of our board.

The stakes are so high this election, and I would just like to remind you all that /pol/ is powerful... it is more powerful than you even realize. This is effectively our moment. It's time we used it to the fullest extent, or we'll soon regret it.

Fox is the most watched news network and its prime-time daily audience is 1.8 million. So yes. It is a bit surprising given all the sensationalism over media that, comparably speaking, so few people actually watch.

You live in New Zealand so you don't understand what's going on here. This is not Bush v. Clinton which is effectively what we had for the past 20 years, in some form or another.

If this was Romney v. Obama, I wouldn't have given a shit because I hate both of those fucks.
>>
>>76539028
It sounds about right to me. Probably half the population is news watching age. 62% are white and that's mainly who watches the news. Probably 10-15% are at work or sleeping during the news slot. Most people don't give a shot about the news, and most of the ones who do care get their news from the innertubes.
>>

Is it that powerful? So perhaps reduce shitposting and think twice before pressing "Submit".

Anyway, /pol/ is more entertaining, informative and comprehensive than local mainstream newspaper.

This board and the vast majority of its users are very pro-Trump. It's ridiculous when there's a sudden influx of faggots claiming that Trump has no chance, etc etc.

Be careful of libtards trying to make /pol/ and 4chan look bad by calling for violence.

They are on every thread trying to incite and they are not of 4chan.

They are libtard agents of influence, trying to get good people to commit bad behaviors.

Beware of the asshole who immediately calls for violence. He (or she, or whatever faggots call themselves these days) is trying to start some shit to make 4chan look bad in the eyes of the national media.

>A community of sperglords is literally influencing US politics right now
>>
>>76538488
Today I realized something

>do I still exist as an individual? Do my words merit something to the outside world because of my self worth?

The answer to that was no. I do not exist as an individual anymore. I am not a single human, with single ideals that are unique to myself.

I am a projection of a community. Of /pol/, of /fit/ and perhaps a bunch of other boards. My thoughts and my words are not really my own, and yet they are. Because I am no longer myself, and myself is the community. The community had great influence on me, and in turn I had some influence on the community. But I have no self identity anymore, no name, no unique and special desires of my own. As I am right now, so there are hundreds like me. Some of them dont post, some of them do post. But being on the chans for 10 years my mental world had shifted from identifiable, individual things that I tied to me. To a metaphysical construct of many individuals. The greed that every human tries to feel by being great, by spreading influence is made pointless like this. Even if a few words of mine get regurgitated, they were never words of mine, they were also words of others.

And this is why anonymous posting is great.

The individual is not powerless. All power rests on the individual. But when the individuals combine their power, that is how things are accomplished.

1 voice does not necessarily shake 10 voices. But the 1 voice can convince 5 voices and 6 voices can shake 5 voices.

Strength is in conglomeration, not combination.

Its just weird how it changes you neurologically. I used to have my own individual hopes and dreams, but it seems like they are mostly gone now. Most of my brain is now a copy of the ideas that are popular, and that have survived, basically the "generic /pol/". Alongside with the spirit of the board if you could call it that. You know, looking at certain things in one light. Making the same jokes, seeing certain information in exactly the same way. Its spooky. The collective mind, the hivemind is no joke. As I am part of a larger brain, sometimes helping that larger brain with my own expertise, there are also many others who are helping that collective brain with theirs. But in that way as an individual I feel power, but that power is no longer what I would call my own, but rather that of everyone.

Isnt that the perfect type of decision making? Its the most pure that exists.
>>
>>76548120

You know what? It kind of is.

Not because nobody knows what 4chan is or how to get here, but because most people just don't want to read concentrated hatred, racism, porn, antisemitism, etc. And those who do will fit right in.

It is the power of the redpill. The Controversy of this board brings in the same people day after day year after year from all corners of the internet.

Normies come thinking they are gonna battle the ebil nadzis, or they come for the lulz, or just out of curiosity. But regardless they come, and once you're here you're here forever.

most users are in various states of being redpilled. If I had to guess I'd say the whole process takes about 2 years, with lots of intermediate steps. Why do you think libertarianism is on the rise?

Anonymity means that the only thing that a person knows about you is the idea you put forth.
Bias is eliminated. Celebrities, poor people, rich people, black, white, women, men.
All are heard equally because without any identifying information you can't dismiss someone's opinion based on the person it came from.

This means that our ideas are constantly being challenged, constantly torn down and forced to stand on their own merit. And so only the strongest ideas survive.

These ideas cement themselves into the mind of the /pol/ack, in some ways this is the "redpill". Overtime they develop into a core belief structure. The very thing societies are supposed to provide but no longer do.
This leads to the user base sharing this common belief structure.
There are many different opinions that arise based on personal experiences, but our goals and our core values are the same. This is the so called "hivemind"

Every single Euro who gets wrong our legal philosophy must be promptly and accurately corrected, sent to good information, and strongly encouraged that they can have freedom of speech and firearms and a government which does not spit on them, in their own country.

Yeah because /pol/ had achieved viral critical mass and momentum by the point he started trying to shut it down.

Also this immigration into /pol/ didn't come without a price, awoofag and all the kike shills we were battling on our mother board followed us here.

No it really doesn't. I've voted in four prior elections and no body has ever said that.

There were a fair bit of warnings about Obama, especially his first term. Obviously those warnings were correct. I shutter to think what the country would look like without having had a republican congress during the second term.

I started browsing 4chan mainly because of /fa/ to be quite honest. For some reason that board has really slowed down. Now, I mainly browse /pol/ everyday. I also sometimes go on /his/ or /fa/ still. Once in a while, I go on /lit/ or /k/. When I'm bored, I try out some new boards I've never been to.I still have not quite grasped how much of /pol/'s influence seeps into other boards.

Speaking of which, does anybody remember those happening threads earlier this year when 2016 was just kicking off and the stock market was tanking? I remember spamming the Chinese stock market sites with texts in Mandarin with shit like "SELL NOW" or "NORTH KOREAN ATTACKS IMMINENT" and the autists at /b/ and /r9k/ got in on it. That's when I really started frequenting this board. It was flat out hilarious.

This is not true at all. Lurk more. A lot of good content gets slid here which is a shame.

Wrong, friend. Kek is the ancient god of darkness in Egyptian religion. He is very real and will only forgive you for your transgressions if I get d-d-d-oubles.
>>
>>76553283
Exactly. This is why the "tits or gtfo" meme exists. Nobody is actually looking to see tits, but as soon as a poster tries to steal credibility by attaching their identity to their idea they deserve to be ridiculed into oblivion.

All of those "as a <insert ethnicity and gender here>" posts are either trolls (most common) or newfags (less common but hilarious when legit)
>>
>>76552977
Damn nah I was around but missed it. Sounds hilarious.

"I made a shitty thread and nobody commented" the post

To be fair though trolling and general shit posting has become a serious problem.

I was very busy for a few years with work and never shook the heady mix of /pol/, /tg/ and /fit/. It still influenced tastes and humour because it had become such a part of my identity.

Now that I've climbed to a comfortable plateau with work (so much shares, so little work) I have enough free time to actually pursue my interests again, which inevitably meant I drifted back to the stimulating and easy world of 4chan.

Let me tip my worn-out fedora.
The estimated number of viewers seems to undermine the tinfoil hat idea news outlets are used as MSM to shill for kike-this and kike-that.

This basically shows that the only MSM is /pol/... and we'd better be careful about who's controlling it. Comparatively, Fox news is not a threat to democracy because it's effect on the population is relatively small compared to the effect of /pol/.

This makes me really think: maybe WE are the system. Maybe WE are the zombies... TV used to be the zombifying kike outlet, but it is not any more.

So watch out pol, because if you accept OP's figures, it means we are all fucked. We think we are dissidents, but in fact we are just useful idiots shilling for whoever controls this place.

>The collective mind, the hivemind is no joke.
To you in particular, I want to reply /pol/ reminds me of some experiences I had in a special fraternity college back in my country. It is a place 400 years old, and most of what happened inside it sounds like /pol/. Not because of the contents, but because of the memes and the bants. People who used to be with me there are like brothers to me now, and as soon as our institution gets attacked by the media, my brain switches off and I enter hive-mind and become just a faithful servant of that collectivity that made me grow up a strong and respected person.

So yes. Pretty much hivemind.

Also you need to divide auditorium between all english-speaking people in world, not counting EU [due to anti-commie speech ban] and not counting China [due to hate speech ban]. So locally pol is less influental.

Also between different boards.

Also between ages and sexes. From english-speaking countries there are mostly underage boys.
Overall the niche is - neet neckbeards and geeks.

Pretty much pol dominates kike domain of > muh popularization. Like when they popularized:
- the spherical earth,
- science,
- "talented" drawings (like when you draw something by camera lucida and then declare, that it is new age of renaissance and everybody must study obsolete anecdotes of plato),
- replaced ether with einstein paradoxical relativity,
- popoularized the meme that religion is of retards and science is omnipotent and omnipresent,
- twisted history with >muh gorillions, >muh pogroms,
- twisted history with ">muh non-prussian anglo-america, only wASp`s work, white majority of prussians is shit, lets be special friends and speak engles"
- etc.
If you want pol to be influental - you should look at anglo work and at their shills work carefully, understand the way it works and use their weapons against them.

This website[1] says /pol/ got about 4 million views over the last six months, the most popular boards are /gif/ (11.95%), /b/ (approx. 8.63%) and even fucking /v/ (4.33%) is more popular than /pol/ (4.05%).
4 000 000 over 6 months, that is approximately 22 000 views a day, I am not even sure whether those are unique views or not.

I was in a college computer lab, and one of my friends was talking about /pol/, and I said why don't you visit there now. So, he pulled it up on college computer, and I told him to go to catalog. Then told him to go to #CruzGeneral. He thought it was funny and thought everyone on /pol/ supported Cruz.
