I'm currently in the process of quiting. Smoked for nearly a decade. Started as a pack-a-day guy, cut back half during my senior year of college, transitioned to three-a-day for a year after undergrad. I figured the next logical step would be to cut it out completely.
Nicotine is so great, though. I tried vaping as an alternative but it feels juvenile and cheap and tacky. I think I'll stick with snus, for my lung's sake.

She has a procedure coming up this Friday to drain fluid from her lungs (she's currently battling pneumonia as well, and she was on oxygen full-time before then), a major complication arising from which could be that one or both lungs collapse, which, at this point, is pretty much certain to kill her.
If she hadn't smoked as much as she did for so long, she might be better off now. But, the kikes in the Tobacco industry were able to suppress scientific reports indicating the danger from this shit and keep congressmen in their pockets for long enough for the damage to be done.
They can't keep getting away with this, but we must also preserve liberty for the majority of Americans.
