In Europe the reaction to "legacy parties" is more rightist, why in Spain&Portugal we veer to sth more progressive and leftist?

Because most Spaniards still feel shamed and guilty about Franco. The education system and the media put a lot of emphasis on how bad he was, and how good the new "democratic" Spain and the EU are.

Now it's our time to work. The new right is awakening all around the Western world. We must import that movement here with a recognisable face, just like Trump in the USA and Farage in the UK. Conditions are great for that, we just have to work it, be loud-mouthed, unapologethic and more people will join. There are a lot of conservatives in the closet, they just don't say anything because they don't wanna be called 'racists', 'fascist', etc.
Plus, don't forget old conservative fucks are still alive and asking for a new Spanish Messiah.

There is one somewhat right newspaper and one popular properly right-wing blog, the rest is all left/far-left (mostly far-left). The widespread adoption of broadband internet has offered citizens a news medium outside of the traditional media though. This is definitely a contributing factor.
